completely righteous... so righteous I had to fire up my DYRL DVD just to re-watch the opening sequence.

I've had a 1/48 fall off a monitor, hit a desk and then hit the ground while fast pack equiped and be fine so they're pretty durable. On the other hand when a co-worker walks by and starts fiddling with my cannon fodder I get nervous.

damn... you guys cant tell they haven't laid the textures on those models? some of them are straight out gray... big noses though... big freakin noses. 343225[/snapback] I thought maybe that grey was "shadow force armor" or some such. it's not like there's a huge difference between un textured grey and that shadow alpha. hah

The last I heard the PSP won't read anything larger than a 4 gig... they tried installing larger micro drives but it was no go.

along those lines... that new transformers comic is a giant heaping pile.

looking more than decent right now.. I hope those models of the capital ships haven't had their final tedxtures put in because they're look a little Last Starfighter-ish to me right now. dog fight sequence was pretty good though I'm not a big fan of the zoom in on the main character and make the fight a blur school of thought.

meh. it works better that vader turns evil out of a strong desire to do good rather than being tricked into doing evil.

True dat. They were not so far apart in age for it to be unbelievable. I'm not sure about the Obi-Wan / Padme thing though. I'm not a big enough SW fan to have ever seen this clarified, but either Obi Wan aged VERY badly in the 20 years between ROTS and ANH, or he was much older than he looked in ROTS. I guess he's in his late 30's by ROTS, but he looked younger. I also agree about the Windu vs Palpatine duel. That was sweet. Up until that time, you could tell Palpatine was evil, but it was right under the surface. It all came out when he broke bad on the Jedi that came to arrest him. You could just see his face twist with evil joy when he ran that first Jedi through, and quickly cut the other two down in pretty short order. After that though, he kind of went to crap. I wish they hadn't changed his voice SO many times during that duel scene. One second, he was normal, the next, he was feeble sounding old defeated man, then he was croaking NO NO NO, then he was screaming UNLIMITED POWER!, then he was half wheezing when Anakin swore allegiance to him, then his voice changed again, and again, and then he became the cackling old fool when he fought Yoda. Am I the only one that notice that? 342927[/snapback] they actually did that on purpose.. listen to the commentary for that part... they're quite proud of it actually.

That nose gap is there on all the valks with their gear down. it's a design issue

Just get what you can for now.. the 6600 GT and a decent athlon CPU will do you well. I've seen windows vista running on Athlon 64 and on a dual core CPU and it still lags so all of the stuff out now will be pretty much useless when microsoft rolls out vista anyways.

you can get a geforce 6600 GT for around 160 bucks or so on pricewatch.com... you get pretty good performance off of these cards.. near 6800 performance for half the price

Yeah... I'm running an athlon 2800, 512mb of ram and a 5200 geforce and it's just not doing a good job. I've turned off all the animation and that helps some. I'm actually upgrading my PC because of this game. hahaha... something wrong with that, I could play Doom3 decent enough but I can't play Civ IV.

yup.. I got it and I'm plugging away with my old POS... I really like some of the new changes especially the improvements they made to religions as well as trade.

I gotta vote for collin farrel as well and ben afleck second, which pretty much made daredevil one of the worst movies ever made for me.

most of those scenes I'm glad he left out... lucas can't direct politcal intrigue if his life depended on it... and those scenes were so stilted and stiff and just dragged on.
