1. That's why there are other sections. The powers that be can have it no other way. 382049 psssh, when somebody starts multiple threads on the same topic we tell him to go pick it up in a previously established thread. But every week and half we have some bored ass whiny kid who wants to start yet another yamato bitch thread. Let's pin a thread and leave it up so we can all get our fill of: why won't yamato release head packs for the VF-1? where's my YF-19 FP? Why can't yamato make every valk in 1/48?/pick a scale yamato! I'm tired of VF-1's, yamato make me something NEW! Yamato OWES me a new valk design because I'm special! Why does yamato charge so much? and every other whine and bitch that comes up. Seriously, no one would put up with thrity different threads on the same topic with anything else? So let's have a pinned Yamato, bitch and whine here! thread and be done with it.
2. saw the movie, thought it was quite good... I really liked the movie version of V... the V of the comics was just too stiff and inhuman for a movie. It was also well played how evey and V go from opposites (emotional/cold) and they both reach a point somewhere in the middle...
3. wouldn't it be nice if we could think of other things to talk about then the same crap?
4. very nice job! Any pics of it transformed?
5. Oooh, nice question! I love the fast packs for fighter mode... but I love the valk without them as well... I love the bulk and the sheer agressiveness of the fast packs and there's just something about how completely utilitarian and function driven that I love... like how the legs needed to be bent to get the leg armor on. And yet, the regular VF-1 is a thing of beauty, so sexy and sleek. for gerwalk and battroid, I prefer my valks naked. I think battroid just looks more polished and elegent without the armor.
6. MPC starscream would be very cool. I too would be most interested in the bot mode... for Prime, I didn't care as I couldn't care less about big tractor rigs but I wanna big purdy jet to pose next to my VF1...
7. I love how no one is actually bothering to read what ali is saying... good luck with your mod.
8. feh. I can see why apple zealots would find that humerous since they all get spoon fed everything from the great steve jobs... same hardware, same software. After all, since everyone is using the same product, no one needs to know what it does and what it needs. Of course if you're some dumb PC user with all these different choices in OS, music software, different hardware connfigurations and actually care about and know what's inside your box then gosh, maybe that stuff is actually useful.
9. hah. My alpha has since gone back into its box and is somewhere buried. guess this means more money for yamato.
10. I have to say I'm almost as excited about this release as I am for the Vf-0
11. looks good, marvel has been printing some real fine books lately, from astonishing x men to my Ultimates which has to be my all time favorite book. Civil War seems like it should be a good read.
12. My real name is Eugene, so eugimon is my "digital" self. So liked digimon a little too much..
13. mmm, ivanov's SV-51 would be awesome... my dream valk at this point, followed by the YF-19 FP and VF-5000...
14. I just saw it... wow... it was bad. And like bad movies.. I liked underworld2, I liked transporter 2, hell, I even liked star wars episode 3, but this was a giant stinker.
15. ah... all this will change when you get your 1/48
16. what's taking you so bloody long?
17. I can't say I'm interested, but put the switch in the neck, press down on the head and click, instant night light. heh.
18. not really, the jungle camo was to protect low flying bombers attack planes from high flying interceptors and fighters.
19. I think it was in 5th Element, wasn't it ? 376090 I'm seeing this thing this weekend, it looks fun.
20. heh... for all of you clamoring for a 1/48 vf-0, imagine how freaking big the box would be.
21. that guy scares me... that picture of his work space is freaking nuts.
22. that space gets filled up pretty quickly with the big metal bar and the shoulder assemblies. but yeah, I guess yamato could make those parts out of magnesium alloy so they can get everything thin and strong enough... and you'd still have the arms hanging down lower than they are now.. sure. easy. I just want to know where this pathetic sense of entitlement comes from. if you're not keen on it, don't buy it. No one is forcing you. let's just stick to the topic on hand and maybe the mods can make a pinned thread for all the folk who are demanding their favorite variant or valk get made.
