1. oooooh, the dorsal tanks pop off... neat.
2. or in the comics. though, it's pretty cool what Whedon is doing with him in Astonishing.
3. MUAHAHAHAHA! Got my two from twin moons today. Wonderful packaging, hand signed note, two perfect VF-0's. no bent tail fins, no reversed magnets, shoulders are good. bicep swivel is loose, which is boo, but I'll live. happy!
4. The x-men were always a whiney bunch of angst ridden teens.
5. huh, that is a nice a design! nice throw back to the original convoy.
6. Gotta' agree with that one. Even if you could trust the crooks on Ebay, what sort of return policy do they have? None, to be sure. Purchases like this should be in your particular region, and they'd better be established, hence the costly business with BBTS as there's no price too high for trust and security... 398844 That's why you always use paypal with a credit card. Fraud protection; people who refuse to use paypal, I have a hard time trusting them.
7. nice, I got my 'just shipped" email today so I should have my babies tomorrow... reason enough to go to work I guess.
8. hmmm. I'm way more excited about the VF-0 than starscream at the end of the day, I'll always love macross more than transformers.
9. I agree, mecha designer = awesome.. religious leader using anime as his sermons, not so much. if I want crack pot religious sermons, I can get my fill from my dad.
10. yeah, it's almost ridiculous how much bigger the VF-0 is... though, seeing those comparison shots almost makes me wish I had kept my 1/60's.... but when I think of that ridiculous leg latch design, I'm glad I didn't.
11. seriously??? Where's mine??? aw, this sucks. maybe it got delivered today at the office... the day I went home sick. sad/
12. meh, I just want mine so I can complain about it too. sad sad.
13. Uh I find that hard to believe. 100k in 1/48 would be about 500-600 valks ranging from 150-200 dollars each and roughly 125 Cases? pics of proof? this seems ridicuolusly impossible. 397532 Not to go off topic to much but heres some answers to Nicks questions: 1) I do not pay $150 to $200 for my valks. Do you really think with the volume that I buy, that I would pay retail. I have no middlemen and have contacts and buy factory direct. Yamato loves me, they would not dare make me pay retail or even wholsale. Like the old saying goes: Money talks. 2) I have over 1000 pieces of 1/48 valks. Its not impossible when you have enough cash. 3) I do not have pics. I do not even see 98% of the stuff I buy. I have warehouses for all this is stuff and employees that handle all of this. I purchase all this stuff under a corporate account for asset building and inventory. So I buy the stuff, its get shipped to long beach, then straight to the warehouse. Though most people think Im crazy, but it will build my networth. I also import Italian marble amongst other items that I predict will gain value over time. I also like to support companies that are making things I like. So even if the yamatos end up not being a great investment, I like them anyway. 397754 Wow... to think all this time I've been living near one of the large cache's of yamatos on the west coast.
14. meh. if they had just cleaned up the effects with the CGI x-wings, I would have been happy. I understand that some people love stop motion and models and what not, I love the visuals, if computer graphics does it better than that's where I'm at.
15. another week, another week of eagerly waiting. sigh.
16. I thought it was well done... it was fun to play "name that tom cruise movie" but the action was fun and the plot was very decent.
17. while waiting for our 1/60 Vf-0's we all collectively lost our minds.
18. eugimon

Another Vf-0s

I do like the darker structural pieces better than the grey used on the 1/60 VF-0.
19. How do you photographically confirm the magnet polarity being reversed, genius? 397313 Well, a misaligned FP on the leg shot would do it, wouldn't it? jackass.
20. and mao has magic powers, more proof that people with odd hair color in Macross is a sign of alien super power heritage!
21. oooh, the articulated hands are way cool... little too big for my taste, but cool!
22. Maybe Max was actually the product of a secret breeding program carried on by a secret organization who's sole purpose was to restore the protocultre bloodline by selectively breeding humans who had odd hair coloring as that was taken as a sign of strong alient heritage! Max was actually kwisatz haderach!
23. got my DVD in the mail today. Amazon Prime is supposed to be 2nd day, but I got mine in one... woohoo! Anyways, this is a nice DVD... the transfer is very clean and the new 5.1 audio track is really nice, the opening sequence is just too sweet.
24. if that is the movie starscream, that is kind of boo...
