1. I bet you just have a whole bunch of yamato toy pages sitting on your computer, just waiting for official releases from yamato.
2. Gah, please no! The "non-Anime Friend" episodes of Macross are far better animated than the talking-head cartoons we see today. 418967 But what if they hired James Earl Jones to do all the voices?!?!?! 418969 swwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. James Earl Jones sings Minmay!
3. That would be very cool. I love that Timm is able to cut to the core of the DCU and tell great stories without all baggage... CIE and the new retelling were bloated in IMO and I would love to sea a parred down and streamlined version.
4. I like it slung low.. gives it that 1970's era US fighter feel that the VF-1 was modeled after.
5. gotta go with the VF-19. I doubt the repaints will be late... maybe to 0a but I think that will be on track as well.
6. that's insane. so in september I have: MPC SS, VF-0a, stealth FP and now this guy? ... can't do it... that would be like 500 dollars in one month on toys. sorry, but I'm going to have to pass on this guy or hope he sits on the shelves for a month or two. hmmm.. I wonder if twin moon has a lay away program...
7. I couldn't stand planet mode... it doesn't look like a planet, imo. It looked like a big angry muffin top.
8. I don't remember the flight suits in Zero being color coded, so it seems fine to me that the cannon fodder pilots would be unadorned.
9. god damn it. ..sigh.. When is it coming out? ..sigh..
10. you know you want it. don't lie.
11. huh... starscream's hands are more articulated than prime's! I'm used to the paint job now, my pre-order with twin moon is safe.
12. maybe we should all take a deep breath before jumping on the fanboy wagon of hate.
13. oooooooooh, so pretty! must have!
14. thanks for the new pics. the colors don't look so jarring in this one though I'm not keen on the "red" still.
15. blah blah, same old same old. Since SS's cartoon transformation is flat out IMPOSSIBLE without removing parts and leaving them off and since his cartoon form is only supperficially similar to his original toy mode, all this talk of "accuracy" is pretty bogus.
16. nice, I only got the stealth valk and not the super edition so this works out nicely since I've been kicking myself since.
17. It amazes me how much everyone is turning a blinf eye to how much "His High Froatiness" has utterly screwed up what was going to be an awesome toy. Now it is seriously less appealing to the market on either side of the pacific from some of the comments I have read elsewhere. Yet everyone lately just lets it "froat" on by because it Kawamori. 418277 ah, I really appreciate how you can formulate an arguement without falling on racial stereotypes. good for you!
18. that's great news, thanks for the post!
19. looks pretty good. I haven't liked tmnt since middle school but this looks like a lot of fun.
20. fraking.. no good.. razzum frazzum... and the VF-0a is coming out at the same time? aaaaaargh!
21. MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ! Awesome!
22. the original g2 optimus toy had a paint job with a red nose and a gradient to a black body. The flames make sense in that context.
23. thanks for the pic... that color scheme is so disapointing... it's not cartoon accurate OR realistic... that's just sad because the sculpt itself is so beautifully done. 417988 The base color as a jet strikes me as fairly close to the grey most military aircraft are painted. I actually like the use of the duller red. As a revision I don't think it's half bad. I'll get this and really hope a more toon accurate color scheme is released. Though if the reaction to this current scheme is very negative, how hard can it be to change color schemes? 417989 hmm, maybe it's just my eyes, but the colors still seem very pastel to me. If they flatten out the colors and maybe lower the tone a bit more, it could work out well, imo.
24. thanks for the pic... that color scheme is so disapointing... it's not cartoon accurate OR realistic... that's just sad because the sculpt itself is so beautifully done.
25. Make the seam adjacent to the FRAME. Then it is hidden. 417771 If the canopy bulges along the sides, splitting the mold along the cross-frame won't make it much easier to get the darn canopy out. 417773 vacuum mold it, and slide the mold out from the rear. the pinch in the canopy really isn't that severe.
