Writing essays on why valks don't need landing gear isn't moving on. They have them, they're shown using them. Maybe that doesn't appeal to you but this isn't the right place to be talking about it.

look, it's never going to happen. Just like yamato will never release a vf-1 with no hands in favor of a pair of tiny manipulators or no pilot in favor of working throttle and joystick, or no arms in favor of integrated side covers. I'm sure if they can figure out a way to get it all in there and be affordable and durable, they'll do it. And no one is saying they don't want the missiles, just that if we had to choose 2 out of 3, then the gunpod and the landing gear is what most of us want. There now, can we just move on?

I haven't noticed anything like that on any of the other grey toys that I have but maybe you're on to something. Maybe grey needs more pigment and that weakens the plastic? But I'm fairly certain in the case of the ozma it's because of the quality of the plastic. It's hard and brittle and cheap.

yeah, I'm especially thrilled that they're using a higher grade of plastic... considering my dx 25 armored ozma is literally crumbling apart in some places.

the arms are the same deal, plastic on plastic friction joints. The shoulders are new, no ratchets. the thigh swivels are loose. GERWALK joints move easily but are strong enough to hold a pose. The knee ratchets are stiff. The ankle extension bit locks into position and the ankle itself is a metal ball joint. The hip ball joint on my copy is a bit loose, nothing bad but I would expect it to eventually get suffer the same fate as the other DX valks and need maintenance over the life of the toy.

Meh, there's a seam right along that joint. If you don't stress the joint by trying to fold the wings/glove back further than it's designed to, you shouldn't have a problem. **The wings/glove does NOT fold back as far as it does on the 25/27. If you try to force it, you will break something** Plastic feels like it's a different formula from the 25/27. Not as hard/brittle. Closer in feel to the quality that yamato uses. My copy wasn't covered in grease, I guess bandai figured out that grease doesn't help paint adhere. Paint is mostly nice but there's some slop around the ankle guards and around the head. Bunny ears are soft PVC type plastic for those of you that care about that sort of thing. The new posable hands are quite nice, the thumb is on a ball joint so there's more posability than on a yammie hand. Gun hand his a nice peg to hold the gun in place. The new shoulder/collar bone assembly is superior to the one found on the 27, a definite improvement. It's definitely a nice piece and a big improvement over the 27

I saw it. It sucked. It's all piss and fart jokes with the odd bit of chop suey racial humor thrown in, not offensive but definitely made me wonder what the he'll those guys at pixar were thinking. It was boring, crass and and just an obvious, cynical ch grab designed to get kids to buy the toy line,

And how about you design the whole thing for the accessories this time instead of that horrible system of clip on missiles, armor that breaks the transformation, stresses key joints... And don't sell them as websculsives... thanks in advance.

seriously, go watch the cartoon, it's complete garbage. And why should the studio give a crap what the "fans" want? The Fans let the franchise slide into further and further into obscurity. You're mad at them for making hugely successful movies that reinvigorated the whole franchise, spawned a sustained toy line through multiple story lines including G1, comics, and 2 new cartoon series, and a video game series that people actually want to play? Man, some people are never happy.
