1. if they do plan to have new wings, they would have to replace the whole assembly - wing roots and all - as the "sleeve" that the wing folds into in battroid mode doesn't appear to have the channels necessary to accomodate the hardpoint blisters.
2. are you the gatekeeper?
3. goodness jenius, you sure got me there. Just because I don't spend my time or get my jollies by pointing out the most miniscule detail, doesn't mean I can't get my jollies by pointing out the absudity of people who do. And yes jenius... I am FURIOUS that yamato is making a yf-19 that is not has not been given the SD version. I will shortly be posting comparison pictures and studies indicating the differences between my avatar yamatos version and why the SD version is better.
4. I'm sorry, complaining about a .5 degree angle in the wings just goes into the realm of the mentally challenged.
5. blah blah. the irvine spectrum target had two titanium megatrons left as of 2:30pm today.
6. omg the chest isn't thick enough. omg the arms are too skinny. omg the upper legs look wrong. omg the head laser diameter is off by 0.005mm. omg the legs are too skinny.
7. i am no expert either. but i seem to recall that he indeed was a diaclone. 424753 yes he was. the toy was a diaclone, the character was american.
8. nice, go away for business the whole day, come back and there are new teaser pics.
9. Inquiring Minds Want to...............Get it NOW 424451 don't you want to wait until we've had a chance to nit pick it death first? oooh look, the wings aren't angled down .75 degrees!
10. there's a lot to be said for wanting to make the best toy possible... and then there's beating a dead horse.
11. it's convoy. going surfing. with a little gal pal, in a white bikini.
12. I can see how some people would prefer the 1/60 battroid because of the nose cone/arms/ and where the backpack sits... but seriously, the 1/48 fighter mode can't be beat.
13. Yamato 1/48. All three modes. Hands down. Even with the puny chicken hands.
14. I like it, thanks for the link! even though I think that grey-green-blue is just a bad choice.
15. Welcome home!
16. Wasn't he the guy who did Tubular Bells? 423575 wow I remember that CD... well, not really. since most of the time I was stoned while listening to it...
17. PA rocks! they've done about 3 TF strips. As for that American Chopper version of Optimus Prime, the rumors won't go away that its going to be him. I think this would be a lot scheme for Optimus Prime. 423546 I wonder what the coffee mug transforms into?
18. I *REALLY* hope we're not getting ahead of ourselves... when I read that first post about the 1/60 yf-19, I was so giddy I woke up my wife... at 5:30 in the morning... my wife, who cares nothing for macross and looks at my valks as a source of emergency funds. I absolutely love the idea of all the Macross Plus valks done up in 1/60 goodness with all the bells and whistles.
19. For all you southern california folk: I was at the new target at the Irvine Spectrum over the weekend and they had the alt prime there... just 1. I picked it up to look at it, and put it down to go track down my wife. Came back in four minutes and he was gone. oh well. more money for MPC SS.

yf-21 for me. It's odd, I've always liked the yf-19 more, but if yamato can pull off a sleek yf-21 fighter... I'm so there.
21. I honestly wouldn't care.. repaint it, slap on a new head and call it the Vf-22 and I'll still buy it. just get the fighter mode to look right.
22. no official word. I'm glad to see we've lumped Takara into our "yamato sucks" whines.
23. I forget who brought it up, maybe ghostryder, but if you apply some nail polish to the pegs on the legs and on the arms, the whole thing locks up nicely in fighter mode and does not suffer from the floppy belly syndrome.
24. I would just like to say, thank god kawamori made the design contemporary and not "futuristic." Futuristic designs rarely hold up as such and quickly become dated and very specific to the era in which they were designed. Vehicles that are designed that incorporate real world elements and obey laws of physics stand a much better chance of surviving the ravages of father time.
