  1. blegh, the VF-4 looks fine as a fighter but it's alt modes are just wonky at best and down right goofy imo. The only VF-4 rendition I have ever liked is the the SD version shown in the design works book.
  2. watched the new bond film today and I have to say I really liked it. I thought they really managed to reboot the franchise and make it more gritty while still maintaining the charm and wit of the old connery movies. Craig did good as well and I have to say he really sold the role and was ver capable in his role as bond.
  3. perhaps satire is lost on this poor fellow.
  4. yeah, I kept wondering where out of his enormous ass he pulled the BSG comparison from.

I agree, the green seems random and distracting.
  6. yeah sketch, stop learning english from jenius.
  7. when you figure it out, let me know as well... cuz too me, it sounds like he's saying that big expensive, immobile guns make for good military planning, but that can't be right cuz that's crazy talk.
  8. I'll see that "What!?" and raise you "Whatcha talkin about willis?"
  9. wow.. I congratulate you on your success as a published designer. I am taken a'back by your responses though.. for someone who so casually dismisses the works of other artists, I would humbly suggest you learn to take criticism (especially the constructive and well meaning ones here) with a more magnanimous attitude.
  10. ah, sorry, my bad. took it the wrong way then.
  11. considering how low budget the cg is, I would think people would look at budget more then what ethnicity was drawing the animation.
  12. interesting idea... I have no interest in the ghost though.
  13. I can't believe you've had the goodness for so long..
  14. it has a different mode for each color stripe on the box, says fighter in the middle stripe.
  15. ooh, nice. Thanks for the pics! for me at least, a built in heat shield is a must.
  16. So, it's okay for those toys to continue forward with the aesthetics of what is a TF, but it's not okay for the movie designs because...? The movie bots borrow heavily from the techno/organic look established in beastwars and works to portray something alien and mechanical. Frankly, there's plenty of things sill about the binaltech/alternator designs as well... such all the bots using chairs as feet or to define their torsos. No definable powerplants, using engines as weapons. fine as a toy, but silly when you think about it interacting with live action humans.
  17. maybe toynami will release their toys once the DVD for shadow blah blah blah comes out.
  18. good point. people complained about beast wars and now it's widly regarded as one of the best Tf storys told. Nothing about a TF requires it look like a bunch of cardboard boxes piled on top of each other, colored with a child's set of primary colors.
  19. it looks fine and it fits with the designs they came up with. Maybe you don't like the direction they took, but that doesn't make it a bad design.
  20. I thought the fleet was already taken over by sharon apple by the time the Yf-19 showed up?
  21. it looks like a big alien scorpion robot thing? what were you expecting? Should it look like the toy? a bulldozer with pinchers?
  22. I wanna see yamato alternate between mac + and mac zero properties... Sv-51 next and YF-21 after that.
  23. bah, who needs logic and rational thinking at a time like this?
  24. his fairy wings are quite fetching.
