  1. blegh. everything else aside, I think the change to the theme bothers me the most. I actually liked the original robotech theme and now they've gone and gave it this orchestral upgrade... but did it so poorly.
  2. so awesome and so disturbing.
  3. Wow! you did a great job displaying that collection. I don't think I've seen store displays that were half as nice or as diverse.

    VF-0S MAX

Heh, I love it. Even if all you did was paint some stripes The max scheme just works so nicely with VF-0s.
  5. Hi T.V. Welcome to macrossworld and thanks for your insight and knowledge into this discussion!
  6. 1680x1050!!!
  7. it was pretty underwhelming, imo. Ang honestly, while I love Sam Jackson, it's not like this show really showcases him or anything. Nor does he particularly bring anything to the table.
  8. aw, poor garland. nice collection!
  9. agreed. Any HDTV will benefit from having an HD source. regardless of size.
  10. doesn't matter if the ambient temperature is low or not as the denisty of space is so low that conduction wouldn't happen. Heat is only going to be transmitted through radiation. actually, without convection, heat in space is a big problem. you'll have huge temperature shifts depending on the orientation of the space craft to the sun (or whatever star).
  11. nice hands on that pic. did you use the stealth hands?
  12. yes, that's why it was a wasted oppertunity to NOT kill her.
  13. apparantly, LG is coming out with a dual read HD-DVD/BluRay player.
  14. boeing beat airbus in sales last year! http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070104/ts_al...es_070104174247
  15. Vf-0a for me as well. It looks spot on perfect and thankfully, my arms haven't broken off.
  16. the only way I see "afterburners" working in space, is that the standard top operational speed of the valk is constrained by what the engine itself can safely handle. Afterburn pushes the engine into the red zone, giving more acceleration but stressing the engines.
  17. agreed. the stealth valk is one of my favorites.
  18. I honestly don't think a live action macross movie will ever happen. No japanese production company has the sheer money needed to finance the level of special effects needed and the space opera market in the US is so flat... even a show like BSG which is critically well received still isn't getting the type of rating necessary to justify more money.
  19. good point. I wonder if the turbine was a compromise made on the toy.
  20. oooh, don't even say that. I'm nervous enough as it is with the all the moving bits on the yf-19's arm.
  21. oooh, this is good news.
  22. there's a thread here with people ordering master grade gundam posable hands for the their 1/48s while retaining transformation... so I think a little bit bigger wouldn't hurt too much.
  23. true, if it was a little bigger, the pinkie would better anchor the handle. As it is, it's only the index finger and thumb that really hold the gun in place.
  24. meh, the original wasn't as great as people make it out to be.
