  1. agreed. Just make them right the first time.
  2. ah, well that clears up a lot. good to know, thanks for the clarification. but, wouldn't it be unlikely for a company to license their product to two seperate companies that will compete directly against each other? not that I'm saying it's mospedea, I'm just wondering is all.
  3. Nishikawa, I was under the impression that he was not an in house designer with yamato.
  4. if they DO.... then that would mean a warming over in the yamato/hg world... could that mean Hg allowing import of yamato macross stuff directly...

well, since I'm boycotting the shin/booster pack, I don't know. But I hope that NB4M's replacement shoulder/biceps come out before then. Or maybe yamato will resolve the issue before it comes out.
  6. I though HG and toynami had the rights to produce mospeada toys here and in japan?
  7. you know, since the 1/48 had a special guest designer, he might have worked into his contract that yamato couldn't make any major modifications to his design or some such.
  8. you were surprised? I told you guys the SV-51 was coming first.
  9. I also think it will be orguss.
  10. I have to say I'm so happy to hear that this is coming out. I adore the SV-51, I think it's one of the more unique VF designs and definitely a lovely lovely fighter.
  11. I would like the custom title of: Prophet thank you.
  12. no... milia before max! must delay the expenditure as long as possible.

that's why I said design issues. The cracking shoulders is a materials/yamato being cheap issue

just to follow up on my "yamato should replace the VF-0s" comment, they're doing it for the garland which had the same major problem (shattering shoulders) but the Vf-0s has far more design related issues, design issues which have been resolved in the 0a release.

this is a good point. the VF-0 with the worst shoulder damage was transformed the least. Maybe three or four transformations total. And yet there's a giant chunk just plain'ol missing from it.

I think they should as well. they should send us replacements made out of a plastic that can handle the stress. Actually, I would rather them just replace the VF-0s unit all together considering how many problems they have: 1. shattering shoulders 2. floppy back packs 3. feet that won't lock in battroid 4. gun pods that don't fit the arm pegs.

I don't think the yf-19 uses the same material. I think the VF-0 uses the same plastic as the garland's shoulders.

okay, I checked all of my VF-0's this morning and both of my VF-0s have busted shoulders. both right shoulder have a stress crack and both left shoulders are completely blown out. 1. 2.
  19. Whenever I transform it, I'm afraid that locking tab will chip the black paint off the fuselage... and yeah, now that I own one, I can't believe how deliberately graham handles his.
  20. I've always seen sk credited with the crab tank.
  21. just wait, the new owner will post new pics and we can find out if it wasn't transformed correctly.
  22. When I was last there (2 winters ago) I found the prices on yamato/macross stuff to be pretty much in line with what you would find here in the states. Then again, I really didn't have time to real look around akihabara so I'm sure I wasn't finding the best deals.
  23. yup, the gun doesn't fit into the arm pegs on the 0s. they got it right on the 0a though.
  24. wow, this is such amazing work! Thanks for posting those movies
