I think she warps reality. depending on what she's doing, either she shimmers or the scene shimmers.

All they say is that it's important that her powers are mental in nature and not physical (she's not mystique) but that doesn't say anything as to HOW her powers work. controling light, or warping reality would still be mental powers and it explains how she fools cameras and is able to affect mass people.

why jump to the conclusion that candice's powers are mental? maybe she can extened her power to objects as well... say more of a general control over light as opposed to mentally tricking your senses.

yeah, but I think it will be limited in what poses it can hold. It looks like the back is going to be really heavy and will want to fall over backwards

saw it this afternoon.. it was pretty good, but it felt like a LOT was cut out in editing. The action sequences were great, they went all out animating spidey and sandman looks pretty good... ILM sure has come a long way since the "Mummy" The ending felt a little hollow for me, I was expecitng a more solid conclusion given all the talk that this would be the last spiderman movie, but I guess if there's more coming it's not so bad.

unless things really change, I'm going to take a pass on this one. that wonky leg transformation aside, the arm nacells just sit way too close together in fightermode... looks just wonky at every angle. I'll just have to live with my gimpy toynami.

maybe he knew, but didn't care. parkman finally got what he wanted, to be a big shot, important,a somebody. I don't think future parkman really cared who he worked for, or what he did, as long as he got to be the big dick.

luckily my wife doesn't really care for interior decorating, so I can keep a few valks out on display. but I too want a man room that I can have more stuff out in.

yeah. they also cut out the first few seconds of the opening song "sakura" which always annoys me.

not me. I don't think that long nose really works on the alpha and I'm not digging the fit of the parts. I understand that it's probably a resin prototype, but the way they have the wings hinged to the body looks really wonky.

Well, the nice thing abut evangelion is that each of the main characters had a pretty unique view of the events.. their reasons for being there and for how and what they did were all pretty different. So as long as they keep true to the characters, Gainax can keep miliking this story until the *cough* real second coming. I'm also in the camp that never had a problem with either the original ending or the EOE... and I think the T ending is merely what plays out in shinji's little head while the major drags his sorry comatose ass all over the base.
