saw it, liked it. I appreciated that they basically launched themselves into it, a'la lord of the rings, and just assumed the audience would get what was going on. Lots of fun, I'd see it again.
I gotta agree with Warmaker on this one. The OT made jedi something special... a force that could turn the tide of the war through not only mystical powers but through charisma and force of will... the prequels made them ridiculously powerful only to cut down easily when the plot dictated.
While I personally like what I see so far of this new clone war series, and having been a big fan of the precursor shorts series... I too would rather see a series set either after RoTJ or not focusing on characters who's fates we already know.
well, if hasbro is going to take the kibble off the hips, I'd rather they change the hip locks to tabs or something so he doesn't have those ball joints sticking out like that.
I do like th paint job though.. even with the uber carbon trails... reminds of Luke's Xwing toy.
heh... yeah, my son is a year old now, so I don't know how much longer just putting my toys on the top shelves will work. Oh well, I'll have to figure something out sooner or later.
haha, it was a while ago, before the SV-51 was announced and graham was teasing us with enigmatic teasers in his signature. So I predicted the SV-51 and then further predicted that yamato would hop between the plus and zero license and that the YF-21 would follow.
my guess is we'll see the yf-21 around christmas time.. maybe around january or so of next year.
I got a reply back from the HLJ and they're telling me that these parts are in limited quantity? And they wanted to know specifically which arm I wanted...?
HLJ replied back to me, but they are requesting the part name and the instruction manual doesn't have a part breakdown like the 1/48 Vf-1 does.... does anyone know what the actual replacement parts are labeled?
And my VF-0a's arm just broke at the bicep swivel... so I'm REALLY hoping the POM replacement is the shoulder and entire arm.
because your values aren't 100% in line with BoB's.
It's okay, I figure BoB speaks in 100% hyperbole in order to get his point across and try not to take it personally.
I noticed some stress marks on mine, but haven't had any problems with breakages or looseness as a result.
After the shoulders are fixed... the feet and back pack of the VF-0s will still be annoying for me.
it's usual in most animation to get the voices before animating. hollywood animation is the same way.. animators often review the tapes of the actors giving performances for body language and facial cues and work them into the character animations.
