I thought spielberg said that they were going to stay away from CGI and try to do this movie like the other indiana jones movies... besides, they're obviously acknowledging the fact that indi is getting older, so I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. It's not like the highlander movies were mac leod is supposed to stay the same age and it's obvious that the actor is old and tired. Indiana is aging and I'm sure the movie will play with that fact.

I liked it, though, heath seems to be channeling dubya's voice for his take on joker though, I definitely like his joker laugh. suitable maniacal without being cartoonish.

samsung is actually coming out on a 3rd generation combo player and home theater set up. The specs sound pretty nice. http://www.engadgethd.com/2007/07/25/samsu...-format-player/ still way too pricey for me though.

the detachable limbs would be to reproduce the look of the yf-21 when guld rams it into the ghost, not in order to be able to transform it.

On page 88 of Macross Design Works, there's some line art of the yf-21 sans limbs and belly plates. there's a bunch plate like shutters that close along the exposed under carriage, giving it a smoother look, but the belly plates definitely go along with the limbs. IMO, unless yamato is going to be able to model those plates, I have no interest in the limbs popping off.

meh. Yamato did a great job with the yf-19 and it looks like they did an incredible job with the SV-51, I'm not too worried.

I think the only reason why we don't see hikaru's 1j with FAST packs is because he was already flying the 1s by the time the FAST packs were deployed. In one form or another, the 1j is seen with both GBP and FAST packs. 'sides, it's not like they're molded on, if you don't like it, just keep them off.
