that's pretty debatable. basra is featured on a lot of the promo material, the offical macross website puts him first in the character line ups. Macross 7: Galaxy Calling Me even revolves around him and emilia. Mylene may serve as the audience's POV for the series, but it's pretty clear that Basara is the central protagonist who drives the story forward, imo.

That's a good point... though, I think the drama of isamu isn't necessarily how he changes, or even that he does, but how he allows the events in his life to change him. As for basra, it's the very fact that he doesn't change, and the reasons behind his views not explored that he's isn't an interesting character to me. In the end, all I'm saying is that both plus and zero offer up good characterizations. Whether or not you or I happen to like the characters is something else entirely.

Well, hopefully bandai won't charge the same premium as yamato... and bandai seems to make better materials choices. The optimist in me says that this will force yamato to produce higher quality/lower cost toys to stay competetive. Especially since fans will probably be more excited over the newer/current designs rather than designs that are ten years old.

That's correct Graham. both sets of 0s arms came with the shoulder halves glued together and pre-assembled. The 0a shoulders halves were not glued together but still pre-assembled. Neither type came with the male shoulder section. You should also mention to Yamato that there was quite a bit of excess flashing on the bicep gasket that required me to clean up with an x acto knife on the 0a shoulders. I'm sure there's the same problem on 0s shoulders, but since the factory workers glued everything together, I don't want to try to force it apart since that bicep swivel is delicate enough as it is.

given how much money is in your collection, there's no reason not to wow us with a 1st class display cabinet. I expect to see a hermetically sealed, noble gas filled cabinet with UV treated glass and halogen lamps in a temperature controlled room.
