yeah, I figured as much, but since I fiddled around with the picture while entertaining my baby, I don't feel too badly about it.

the tv style packs are lighter in value and the fore-arm pieces have a slightly different design. And the TV style packs don't inlcude the alternate gun nacelle. The white part is molded in color, it's not paint.

well, with the possible strike looming, this project may get the green light and the fast track... otherwise, it maybe a year or more before we hear anything more than speculation and the grinding sound of millions of fanboys gnashing their teeth.

I think the limited release and commemerative nature of these valks will mean speculators will snatch these up.

well, according to some people, yamato is expected to create toys that don't fall victim to entropy, so forever.

the number indicates the number of vertical pixels and the "i" indicates interlaced and "p" means progressive. Interlaced means your TV draws odd and even number pixels in alternating fashion and your brain stitches it into a moving picture, progressive means that every pixel has the potential for being redrawn at the same time.

congrats. For a lot of us, the 1/48 line is still the best thing yamato ever did.

well, if the price cuts do happen, I think MS will have to do something interesting to keep the 360 competetive. They may have the game title advantage for now but when ps3 has a stable of A list titles AND blu-ray, the shine off of Halo 3 is going to get dim real fast.

I've never understood the apparant japanese fascination with wonky english. Frankly, I think they do it on purpose. then again, it does explain a lot. If yamato can't be bothered to run spell check, it makes sense why they wouldn't catch other flubs.

there is warping in those scans, look at the edge, there's a definite value shift due to the curvature of the spine. nice scans still.
