it's represented in the comparison graphs, after isamu becomes pilot of the yf-19, the yf-19 clearly pulls ahead of the yf-21. I honestly don't get why people are still debating this point.
how are they going to explain a terrorist operation fielding mechs that are at least a generation more advanced than the most advanced mechs fielded by entire nations?
it also depends on the pigments used to color the plastic. It's very likely that the pigments are reacting with the oxygen in the air and breaking down.
haven't you watched Topgun? Everyone knows your ability to keep your wingmates alive is one of the metrics taken into account when determining who's the best of the best.
also, don't foget that it was hikaru and not max that realized the first battle in DYRL was just a feint. And Max, as squad leader, freaking LEFT his wingman and went off to chase after an enemy ace instead of doing his job.
I think a question that should be considered is whether you would want pilot ____ to fly with you in battle. I wouldn't want:
basara: he doesn't care about you as a person, a battle is an oppertunity for him to be an evangelist for pacificim
guld: emotional and might accidentally kill you
isamu: emotional and might accidentally kill you.
Max would probably just kill everyone himself. Hopfully he doesn't forget about the mission in the process.
hikaru and roy seem to have the most concern for their wingmen as well as having the most situational awareness.
basara was outright clumsy in gerwalk mode but he was pretty talented in fighter/battroid.
But as for best pilot, I'd have to go with Roy. He might not have the same leve of genius that max had but roy had better situational awareness and he brought up everyone else's game while max on occassion would let the larger battle get away from him while he pursued his own targets.
the bungie/MS split is a done deal but as I understand it, MS has first dibs on bungie releases and MS owns the rights to Halo. i'm sure we'll be seeing more of the master chief.
I'm a fanboy because I pointed out a flaw in your post? Because, that one post negates all the ambivalent posts I've made about my experience with this game? whatever man, just crawl back into the hole you came out of.
Myth, Marathon and Halo, 16 years of making popular games... hardly a "one trick pony" Haters can blast away at halo all they want, but it remains one of the, if not THE most popular FPS on any console and it's been that way for years.
yeah, I really hate the get to point B and then turn around and get back to point A missions. And to have have two of them, essentially back to back was really stretching it. It really did feel like the level designers just couldn't figure out, or couldn't be bothered to figure out how to make some the game longer and took the easy way out.
haha, no kidding. the first time I heard that snapping sound when you take leg off that rear calf peg, I just about died. I thought I had missed a step like" depress release tab for calf peg" and had just busted my brand new toy.
the cloak is now one of those deployable gadgets and the dual wield needler was massively powerful, I think they made it a single weild only for game balance issues.
