My problems with HLJ start when I ask them to do something like, combine orderes or order parts not found on their site. But my orders with them otherwise were usually filled on time and shipped securely so.. meh, we'll see. I'll probably buy at least one more from someone else, someone stateside. Just not sure who. Maybe Kevin will do another special buy like he did with the 25th anniversary valks.

file down the center posts on the missiles until they're flush with the brackets on either side of them and that should help, it helped on mine.

And it took until december for him to get it and ship it. Just left me feeling "meh". Anyways, nothing to do with this thread. but I think some holo-foil stickers on the flaps would be just fine. Nice, simple but effective. I've also bought a "MIB" yamato off of ebay, that was not. In that case, it was through one of those guys who sell your stuff for you, and he didn't know any better. But if yamato did seal their boxes, probably wouldn't have happened.

well, once you get into season 1, things quiet down, the transfer is cleaner and haven't noticed synch issues. But it's still not a clean transfer by any means. For example, in the opening shot of the 2nd episode where Sharon is sitting and the water is dripping and pooling around her, each time a drop falls into the pool, the water just fractures into a mess of pixelated boxes... it doesn't look anything like rippling water. If you compare it to something like the heroes HD DVD set, you'll be disapointed. So... mixed bag... if you have the SD set... think twice about upgrading, little improvement but some of the visual effects shots DO look better. Galactica's "ribs" and armor plating are much better defined and protray that flying buttress feel much better, the ships in general look better and the shot of caprica's atmosphere as the nukes are going off is just amazing. the True HD Audio is reallywell done (when synched proper). If you don't have the SD set, go ahead and get the HD-DVD set

I don't get the hate for the 1st joker poster. It's obviously designed to work with that batman poster. Batman is looking down on the city, set apart and seemingly overwhelmed, while joker is there on the street, but larger than life and ready to do violence. it works thematically very well and the wonky perspective only serves to reinforce joker's mentally instability.

I really like the "why so serious" poster.

This complaint was a long time coming, it's too bad something like this had to happen before people started to complain about it.

the armor plate version is the one I was referring to. It was most obviously an "homage" to the batmobile. I didn't realize that there was any other seasons after the 1st one...
