    nice, thanks for the pics! I can't wait till I get mine in my grubby little hands. question: Do you have the yf-19 head stuck in that odd way in the fighter mode because you're afraid of scraping that gold paint? Is the gold flaky?

    ah, got it. I still thank zhang zi yi would be a better choice. It would be nice if hollywood would actually cast an asian as a lead without the "teaming' them up with an established "american" actor. But politics and ethnic hee-hawing aside, zhang zi yi is a proven star and has the athleticism to actually pull off the role.

    I gotta agree on "dangerous days" it's a great look at the inner workings of the movie and I got to say I'm pretty impressed at how the key players werent afraid to pull any punches during their interviews. I also find it fascinating that the debate over the voice over and the happy ending still continues to this day and that the parties involved really thought/think that they did what they had to make the show better.

    booo! She's cute and all but Zhang Zi Yi would have been such a better choice... other than the fact that she's actually chinese she can act and she can pull off martial arts stuff. oh well, if they could teach keanu kung fu, maybe they can do the same for kristen. I'm doubtful though, keanu never had the grace and economy of motion that really sells kung fu, imo.

    I don't know about that, at my local targets, the transformers sections are cleared out. Only the real gear and the key chain stuff remains.

    yup, I gave my 20ish" wega away to my sister-in-law when I bought my LCD. Wasn't worth trying to get a buyer on craigslist. But honestly, even if they had this program when I was in the market, I STILL wouldn't have gone with Sony.

    yeah, it's pretty nuts how quickly you built up that collection!

    I'll be pretty disapointed if there's not a plot relevent reason for the SMS... something that has more impact on the story than some throw-away line that hints about the larger political picture and then completely ignored. I get that Macross is supposed to be about the micro human scale drama set against the backdrop of intergalactic war, but if they're going to keep changing things, at least make them mean something.

    Man, get yourself a decent digital camera with a decent macro mode for christmas. As long as you're going to be doing modeling work like this, you OWE it to US (hehe) to shoot better pics.

    yeah, by all means, have a fan around the 360 to help circulate air. The problem with those fan systems are that they aren't synched to the case fans. So either it pushes in more air than the case fans can evacuate, causing the temp to rise, OR they actually cause LESS air to be drawn in and then the heat sinks can't function properly.

    when you go to play the avi file for the first time, the 360 will want to download the codec and then you're good to go.

    yup. unless the fans are perfectly synched, you do not want to have fans pushing on one side and pulling on the other.

    From that list, I would want: 1. Alfonso Cuaron 2. Guillermo del Toro Sam would be a distant third for me. I'd actually like to see brad bird given a shot at this.

    cinematical is reporting that sam rami is expected to direct the hobbit: meh.

    only, the endoskeleton, taken by itself, doesn't suggest the terrific bulk of the arnie model with flesh.
