no kidding. I watched Harry Potter at the Metreon in SF last year and the guy in front of me kept falling asleep and snorring loudly... louder than the movie. His wife would wake him up after a while but I asked him to leave if he was going to keep sleeping/snoring. So his wife starts cussing at me in front of their kids, saying she would beat me up and not to f*ck with her and blah blah. When my wife asks me why we need a home theater... that's the story I tell her.

huh, it would be good news if it were true, but I don't see anyone else reporting on this. -
this is a retarded tactic, imo. Keep changing the hardware every few months... good way to entice people who are on the fence to make the jump, sony.

but notice, they... speak... halt-ing-ly... and... br-eak-up... words... with... m-ore... than... one... word! very realistic imo.

since they seem to be borrowing lines and scenes from other movies, they should take a page from planet of the apes.. at the end, prehistoric maximus should destroy the temple... only to have it collapse into a giant pit and when they look bellow, they see the rotting skeletons of skyscrapers! ZOMG, this is our future!

heh. Looks like they're really running with the theory that there was an ancient advanced civilization that predated the aztecs/mayans/egyptians and that they were the first ones to build the pyramids/zygurats.

yeah, it looks like there's an indent on the thumb to allow the index finger to fold in all the way to make a neat fist. -

The Xbox 360 Thread Elite Edition

yeah, I know what you mean. The different classes in ME are varied enough that it made the combat experience different enough that I didn't mind replaying it. But I replayed the vanguard for my last run and I was bored out of my mind. I decided I wouldn't go for the last 2 achievements untill the DLC came out. I have to agree that COD4 is more fun than Halo3 and though there are some awesome moments in COD4... I have no desire to replay the campaign, achievements or no. -

wow, thanks for that really insigtful commentary, you've really added a lot to the discussion.

yeah, I'm all in for this new incarnation of Bond. I thought craig was absolutely fantastic as bond and I really like the direction they're moving in. Took a page from the bourne series but still remained true to what made Bond, Bond.

Well, I can understand releasing some of the more obscure but beloved valks first. But, I think a lot of people here have that fishbowl mentality thing going on. That is, what's popular/important to us, may not be to the average anime fan or even the average macross fan. We have no idea how well enemy macross mecha, or 2 seater valks have sold to the mass market... but given the lack of interest in making those toy lines for the last 20 years... I'm going to go out on a limb and say not much. To most people, if you say macross, they're going to think of the VF-1 and if they're newer fans, maybe the macross plus valks (at least in the US). I don't think most people think of the regults or even the q-rau. And while destroids may be more popular, I still think the VF-1 is king when it comes to Macross. Kind of how the original gundam is still pulled out of pasture everytime there's a new toy or model line introduced. Anyways, I'm passing on these guys, I just don't think they look very good and even at under 20 bucks, I think they cost too much. For a small, non transforming action figure, I expect a sub 10 dollar price point. I'm willing to dish out the big bucks for large, fully realized transforming mecha... but my geekdom doesn't extend down to this level.

your momma's in grade school.

meh. i don't mind them releasing the valks first... honestly, other than macross fans, I don't see the average anime fan showing much interest in enemy macross mecha... eggs with chicken legs aren't that impressive, imo. I just think they look fugly.

it depends on the manager/supervisor. They can either excercise their right to try and fix it or they can give you a new one. You might as well take it in and see what they say. Remember, if the sales guy doesn't give you the answer you want, firmly but politely ask to speak to the manager. -
your mommas the crap in eugimon's omega pants.

that's not being a devils advocate... that's just watching the show.

well, my point is... sometimes, people who are sick, just can't will themselves into health. Their minds just aren't capable of making those decisions or seeing things the same way a healthy person would.

well... there's a difference guys. If you're self medicating due to an underlying disorder.. like being bipolar, or being clinically depressed... you probably don't have the ability to get yourself into help. On the other hand, you're just bored and have lots of money and you flush your life away, then frak you. In this case, it looks like Heath KNEW he had a problem and his friends are saying he had been clean/sober for the past year. So it *seems* like he was getting his poo together.
