  1. cool. glad to hear it.
  2. so... it worked?
  3. wait, why are you laughing? You mean I'm not supposed to take the legs off???
  4. yeah, the armor was the problem, not the valk!
  5. well, the anniversary yf-19 doesn't come with FAST packs... and the problem wasn't with the valk, it was with the fast pack. Other than the nose cone not being able to stay up in fighter mode, I don't have a problem with mine.
  6. hmm? Before I fixed the magnet, yeah. They would fall off just as easily. But now that I moved the magnets so that they're flush, they stay in place much better.
  7. are you saying your nose doesn't have this slot? edit: Wicked Ace, you beat me to it. And here I was trying to be helpful. Anyways, tips on transforming it. step 1: swing the gullet hatch down, step 2: make sure the canopy is lowered and the peg is sticking down. step 3: raise the nose so that the canopy peg inserts into the slot step 4: press the little part on the nose cone that locks the canopy in place step 5: raise the gullet hatch up. ta-da.
  8. this is all the more amusing when I imagine Brian's voice when reading JsArclight's posts.
  9. well, as far as my problem goes, the magent was barely hanging on, so sometimes the whole leg would just swing free from the wingroot and the shoulder assembly. It was pretty annoying.
  10. in both. But I figured it out. The magnet wasn't flush with the inner lining of the fast pack. There was a a good 1-1.5 mm gap, so I pryed the lining off (it's glued in place and I eneded up snapping one of the mounts) and reseated magent so it's flush. It's still not as tight as I would like but it's a lot better now.
  11. I don't know, I feel like he milked Alias for a few seasons more than it needed to go, so I don't think he would be too adverse to the extra money.
  12. mine fall off at the slightest provocation as well. If you find an answer, post it up!
  13. I think this well get turned into the monster movie version of the SAW franchise. Decent first movie, followed by souless, churned out sequels every year for a quick paycheck.
  14. what the hell are you talking about? Are you still mad that I called you on your missunderstanding of sumdumgai's post? Jeebus kid, let it go. You didn't understand the post, and you were still wrong about the binaltechs. If you think I'm picking on you, well, maybe it's because you're wrong. But just for the sake of arguement, let's examine your post and my response: What part of that response was an "answer" to anyone other than you? I refutted your claim that this was a QC issue. I refutted your claim that we were picking on a noob and I refutted your claim that we only listen to vets or "yamato kissass complains". This isn't a QC issue, this is a mistransformation. The guy in question has been a registered member for over 1 year. Several of us, including me, have been very vocal over yamato's QC/Design decisions. My avatar pic was a shot of a shattered shoulder on my VF-0 for half a year. And there have been plenty of threads, started by noobs about yamato issues where we've tripped over ourselves posting pictures and giving advice on how to resolve the issue. For example: http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=24554 But think about it, how likely is it that people will be friendly and helpful when the post is nothing more than a hate filled rant? If l logged on to tfw2005 as "leader 1" or "gobotfan" and posted an unfair and scathing rant about my MP Convoy (which by the way came with chrome paint dripped all over the top of the cab and ankle joints so loose it can barely stand up right, and the right chest door was bent, so that it won't lock in place in bot mode) and then proceeded to insult a well respected member of that board... well, what do you think the response would be? And pal, if you're going to come here to lecture us on net etiquette, you can start by looking in the mirror.
  15. well, stalone is saying this is the last.
  16. because it's plain to see, for anyone who's ever owned one, that you didn't transform it correctly from the pictures you posted.
  17. Where's the poor QC here? This guy, who's been a registered member for over a year, couldn't figure out how to transform his valk, so he post a hate filled rant. BTW, there is a civil thread on known yf-19 QC and design issues. And if you had any idea of what you were talking about, you would know that some of us have been very vocal in expressing our displeasure over *actual* yamato QC/design issues.
  18. oooh, how about, "GODDAMNIT, the rear seat came out! Stupid Yamato, can't buy some glue!"
  19. hahaha, I'm waiting for another angry rant about how yamato didn't include hands... wait, what's that, you flip them out? lol
  20. I liked it, but I agree that there's little there to interest me in a second viewing. I'll pass on the DVD as well.
  21. yeah, the toy shown in the commercial is probably a hand painted resin mock up... I wouldn't read too much into it.
  22. I'm still ambivalent about these guys, so i have no problem going 2nd release on these guys.
