    I still have to say the build quality, and engineering of the vf-19 tops the 25 but it is a damn good piece.

    The new kit releases are already out. Hlj has been shipping them. The kits themselves are the toys, just unbuilt and unpainted. Any difference in the final product is due to the skill of the builder

    lol, I had my 25 posed like that until my wife came in, took a quick look, pointed and then started laughing.

    I have an old beat up g1 jetfire from when I was a kid but that's as close as I come. I haven't wanted one since the v1 1/60 vf-1 came out and I haven't looked back.

    Definitely better than the first game and it's as polished as the second game but I feel like there's just a certain something missing... that WOW factor.

    So I'm more than a couple hours into uncharted 3 and I'm just going to come out and say it... Not as good as uncharted 2. Not by a long shot.

    I wouldn't get your hopes up for paint/plastic matching. The yf-29 is a mess of different shades of red.

    I loved CR and while I agree that QoS wasn't as good, I still prefer it almost anything 007 post Connery.

    To be fair, those vf-117's take a couple of shots before the blow up as well. Alto does keep flying after getting hit while the CF pilots seem to just start screaming and take shots to the body.

    No, he's not making it up. There were some pretty brutal conversations going back and forth over the merits of the MPC vf-1 versus the 1/60 vf-1.

    People didn't just settle for the v1 dx 25, they were gaga over it. They were vocal and hostile towards anyone who didn't think it was the bee's knees. I remember people saying how the DX was the true version of the 25 and how the show and the line art was wrong, how the DX was both faithful to the line art and better than it at the same time. How it was soooo much more posable than anything that yamato made, how having to move the shoulder at the "collar bone" transformation hinge because the actual shoulder joint was worthless was an innovation...on and on for pages and pages. There was even a guy just recently putting up pictures talking about how great the v1 DX 25 is...

    with rumble frenzy, you can specify whether you want it in one mode only. But honestly, given how much painting he does, why the hell would you risk transforming one of his pieces?
