ah, this got me thinking of my pg rx-178 mkII which I found on the ground and in pieces. had to epoxy bits back together and I was thinking while I had it apart I should fill in the seams, sand it, prime and paint it and do some weathering. Then I remembered I don't know how to do any of that, so I just put it back on the shelf and asked it kindly not to fall down again.

Well, that's kinda why I'm ambivalent about it. I've hated callie for so long but in her final moments I felt like there was hope for her when Torrie talked her down from hysterical ledge. And then SWOOSH! Made me feel kinda sad for her... I don't like feeling sad for callie.

kinda ambivalent for me as well... I didn't feel that the four plot lines (kara, lee, the cylons, the final 5) meshed very well. But it was interesting to see that the at least one of the final 5 had an awakening of sorts.

Graham had stated previously that some of the vf-0a shin/combo got the shoulder fixes and some did not so it's still a crap shoot.

I gotta agree with you. The 1/60 VF-1 line just holds a certain degree of "meh" for me. I'm not thrilled with some of the design choices (the new backpack latch especially bugs me) and the relatively high price all bugs. But... there are so many nifty features, the double jointed elbows, the improved feet, etc that I can justify to myself getting one or two. The Focker 1s will probably be my only 1 seater purchase though, unless yamato comes out with a kick ass non-canon paint scheme.

florescent/halogen/metal halides = high UV output. flourescent and metal halides are used in aquariums for growing plants and corals... GE says that their halogen bulbs are UV coated, shrug. halogen and metal halides have high radiant energy output as well. LED is probably the safest.

can someone explain to me how/why hydrogen peroxide/bleaching will help with yellowing? Yellowing, afaik, happens because UV damages/destroys the pigments in plastics... so why would bleaching do anything? Yellowing isn't like other types of discoloration where a foreign pigment is coloring the original material.
