  1. they can fold, so there's really not much point to using a stargate. Though, could you imagine the look of surprise at stargate command?
  2. WTF? I guess I can take it off my netflix queue. Thanks a lot man... thanks a lot.
  3. seriously. How do you not hit something the size of an office building with a rifle?
  4. I'll be eagerly awaiting your next custom. Do you have a plan on dealing with the paint chipping around the back nacelles?
  5. oooh, the sexy stealth custom makes another appearence. Come on Yamato, get on the ball and give us some GOOD yf-21 repaints. And for fraks sake... www.dictionary.com, use it, love it!
  6. Aw man, I didn't even know about this. Thanks for the headsup!
  7. sweet. I just wish they were cheaper. I'd get a whole little army of them. Oh well.

    The BEST valk?

Sorry man, but that's really stretching there. No toy is going to accurately reproduce the VF-1 actual leg transformation sequence. However, the 1/48 allows things that the 1/55 design won't allow. Namely the ability to swing the arms out for GERWALK without uncoupling the legs and also torso twist... as limited as that may be. And the 1/48 swing bar design allows the legs to attach in the correct spot for battroid. Again, somthing that the 1/55 fails to do.
  9. Osamu Tezuka derived much of his style from copying the Disney look... so I just consider it all in the family that Disney ended up copying much of Kimba for the Lion King.
  10. Yeah, I'm sure they'll add the "boot player' option soon enough.
  11. gotta go with the YF-21 in anime and in 1/60 glory. It's sleek, sexy and deadly looking.
  12. The vf-0 CF in the OVA had a more whitish color than the flat gray used on the yamato 1/60 CF... so there was a little uproar and we were told that the CFs were meant to be grey all along. Actually, we were originally told the CF was SHIN!!! And we were told that his white chest stripe and the thunderbolts on his helmet were animation mistakes. And then later on, the actual Shin type was released.
  13. Aw... no more AiA? That's sad news but happy for your success Shouta. Thanks for all the hard work!
  14. looking better. I guess when they put in proper ankle mechanics it will help with the proportions. Still not happy the cod piece or where the hip joints are located.
  15. Well, to be fair, I think the point of these threads isn't for fans but to show the yamato guys that there's a demand out there for the VF-4.
  16. This truly bums me out. I loved this man... you'll be missed George.
  17. maybe for me. While I adore the fighter mode, battroid and gerwalk do nothing for me. I'd have to be mighty impressed with the sculpt or engineering.
  18. well, unless you drive an older car and you need the extra octane to keep the engine from knocking.
  19. nice! Thanks for taking the time to post these up.
  20. wow, that's a great fix and nice and simple.
