I don't mind that they didn't fill in all the blanks on galaxy or the vajra. The story was about alto, ranka and sheryl and I think they resolved it. Alto finally chose for himself what he loved, his father accepted his decision. Ranka and Sheryl both came discover who they truly were. In this respect, Frontier was very much like SDF:M, where the series ended with lots of questions about the zentradi, protoculture and the supervision army unresolved. And personally, I think it was made pretty clear who Alto chose. I really enjoyed this series. I agree that it felt rushed at times and yeah, some episodes really stunk in terms of animation but overall, it told a great story and opened up the Macross universe to new stories while paying a loving homage to all the macross shows of past.

got a few races in on wipeoutHD... it rocks Looks great, plays and sounds great. It is more of the same, so if you have the 2 PSP games, it's not anything terribly new, the tracks and skins are recycled. Online is fast and for me at least, lag free. If you like the series, this is an easy buy and lots of fun

calm down dude, no one is screaming martyr. Everyone, every single last one of us have agreed that misterryno crossed the line and that he provoked the mods and that the account spamming was just plain wrong. We're just saying that we feel he wasn't a troll and that he did contribute meaningfully to the board and that he should be allowed to eventually come back. If you're not able to discuss the matter without resorting to hyperbole and rhetoric, maybe you're too close to the situation.

maybe, but I would get similar messages when I use comcast's default DNS. I could access any site BUT macrossworld. After I changed to using openDNS, no more problems.

It's a TV show, time is at a premium, I for one would rather have more time spent on developing the actual characters than spending time on some random extra. And stopping the action to have people pointing and whispering would have killed the timing, imo.

okay, then what about the 4 pages of "eugimon's pants" that took place during the yf-21 thread? where was the lock down and ban hammer? What about the long ass leash for BoB and his venomous attacks, not just against yamato, but against anyone who disagreed with him? If the mods were more consistent about what offenses attract their ire, I think more people would understand... but it just seems random. I've had one person personally attack me (and both times he was completely wrong in how he read the situation) but I've never received an apology from him, had a mod intercede on my behalf, nor was he banned for his rather vicious attacks against me. And yet misterryno gets a custom title and a stern talking to because of too many smileys? Doesn't seem fair. But like I've said, the spammed accounts and the trollish behaviour with those accounts, that's something else... but even then, I don't think it warrants a permanent ban. There are people who engage in far more disruptive behaviour and if anything is done to curb their behaviour, it hasn't been made as public and as personal as it was against misterryno.

It's just your bad timing then, since I haven't posted in this thread for weeks. But then again, what else do I expect from people who turn every discussion about the failings of the DX into yet another yamato versus bandai thread.

Well, from the what Hurin and EXO have said, I can see why the permaban was put in. It bothered me at first that misterryno was banned because I can think of a few people off the top of my head who have been far more disruptive and down right trollish in their behaviour... but still, hopefully the mods and misterryno can come to some agreement. sure he spammed, but he also contributed to many conversations and he was a staple in the various toy gallery threads.
