    it's cumulative... the vf-4 was only shown as a toy in the show, a few seconds in a music video makes it pretty obscure. And while it was in games in the past, it wasn't in the more recent games. And the fact that yamato, apparently, doesn't think it's even worth getting a proper retail release? I'm sticking with obscure.

    Eh, I would have to say that a valk that had only a couple of seconds of screen time (half of which was as a toy) in the past 30 years is pretty obscure.

    nah, he's got way more than that. We can see the vf-0a, some vf-1s and some 25s in the other pics...

    vf-0 has swing bars. Nothing says ye olde fashioned like swing bars.

    yup, it's all just really fancy versions of stuff that's in the vf-1. It's not like the vf-0 was rocking a PPB or something else really anachronistic.

    well, there could be a lot in continuity explanations for a lot of that.. kinda like with concept vs production cars. We've seen concept cars with digital windshields that have IR night vision displays integrated in, drive-by-wire steering, all sorts of neat stuff. And then the production model comes out and it has the same old same old inside. Or some company will show up at a trade show with some super high tech gizmo that everyone drools over but they won't be able to mass produce it for another 5 years. The vf-0 was supposed to be a test bed... so it's perfectly reasonable to just go with that and say that while stuff like wrap around displays were possible, they just weren't affordable for the mass produced vf-1.

    yeah, the engines should act like giant shoulder pauldrons in battroid mode and not be fixed in place.

    the base of the neck is on a swivel so that the head will sit further back. If it looks off center it's probably because it's somewhere in between the position it's supposed to be for fighter and battroid

    ankles are solid and the gerwalk joint has a deeper bend than the vf-19. gerwalk fans should be happy

    mine is still in customs. My stuff used to go right through but now it seems it always takes a day or two. I even had a package of stickers get stuck in customs and searched...

    Well, got my shipping notice from ami ami, so in a couple days I'll either be pleasantly surprised or kicking myself for blowing 330 bucks.
