if you like the toynami sculpt of the vf-1, go for it. Personally, I don't think it's worth the money... I'd rather get a bandai reissue for the price or pay more and get a yamato.

I've handled all the robotech valkyries and I agree, the Jack Archer is as shitty as the rest of them, except for the first one, which the most shittiest out of the series.

Well, no problems on the other arm and no problems on the 1j. If we start seeing a flood of reports on the 1a, the 1j, 1s hikaru, etc, then I'll agree with you that the design is flawed.

oh, I agree with you that the design itself is fragile. It's like the neck joint on the 1/60 yf-19. It can be broken by poor assembly or poor handling but it's not the same as saying it will break.

All that work? Yeah... go to any myriad hosting services, put in your CC and you're done. I don't know what you think is involved in registering a domain, especially from a company that will also host your site; not that much is involved which is why domain squatting was such an easy and quick way to make money. "private individuals buy domains because they're cheap and often do nothing with them, not everything is a huge conspiracy theory." Oh, but why would an individual go through "all that work" and then do nothing with it? My god, the do you get dizzy from running around that big circular track you call logic all day? Domain squatting isn't some big conspiracy theory. It's a quick and easy way to gamble on making some quick money. It costs very little to register a domain and often times companies will just pay you off rather than bother taking you to court over it.

I think the kite is there so they can say it's a legit site if HG or BigWest or whoever tries to sue them for it. They've had the domain for 5 years and haven't done anything.

not bashing, just critiquing. Even if the various weapons weren't 100% modular, a weapon type should look similar from mech to mech. Makes no sense that on one mech it looks like a big long barrel and on another mech the same weapon is a snub nosed barrel barely sticking out of the chest.

but it is the same old story. We all know the 1s strike roy is plagued. When we start seeing reports of later and recent releases having the same issues, then I'll care.

The thing that always bugged me about how battletech used the artwork was that they even though the weapons were supposed to be modular, they looked so tremendously different from mech to mech. The least they could have done was to go through and redesign the weapons arms/clusters to look at least similar.
