  1. yeah... that's weird... oh well just makes me love my CF 1j all the more!
  2. I like it, I can do this... with this... Course... now that Vegas blew my pictures out of the water...
  3. you guys and your flashes... I have a clip on LED booklight...
  4. yup, great photos! Nice use of the flash
  5. stand attachment.
  6. oooooh... well then, carry on sir, carry on.
  7. yeah, they're packaged in cardboard sleeves.. I agree it's a boneheaded move. Huh, you're right... which makes the DVD and HD-DVD all that much worse. That opening sequence in the space station borders on unwatchable with the amount of static and pop on the previous formats.
  8. ergh... Buster Prime is awesome but he's not 90 dollars awesome... guess I'm slapping some silver paint on ol'regular prime and calling it a day.
  9. Daikatana wasn't Carmack it was Romero... they used a modified Quake II engine but that it sucked is hardly Carmack's fault.
  10. Carmack says Rage runs 60 fps on the 360 and 20-30 on the PS3... if Carmack is having problems getting the PS3 to reach parity with the 360... http://www.joystiq.com/2009/07/30/edge-rag...o-30fps-on-ps3/
  11. Somehow I lost my Mk. II's bazooka during the move, so I got him an upgrade...
  12. if it makes you feel any better... minmay probably won't sit any more securely in that seat than in the one in the cockpit...
  13. Got the blu-ray box set today Quick impression... FRAK YEAH. The opening sequence of the mini series was nearly unwatchable with so much static and pop (the so called simulated film grain) on both the DVD and HD-DVD releases... thankfully that's been cleaned up and it actually looks like film grain (more or less, as much as digital film grain effect can look like film grain). Video and sound are great, it's a worthy upgrade to the DVD's for anyone on the fence about upgrading. The box set comes with a toaster too, decent sculpt and posability...
  14. well, that's because ninjas are so common in Japan (and apparently Korea...?) that Samurai don't even notice them anymore. But since it's a *historical* movie, the white guy could spot them because they were new and exciting.
  15. yeah, spill the beans Vegas! let's see a picture of your "studio"
  16. the plastic is so freaking cheap, it falls apart on its own... I wouldn't put any sort of chemical on it, who knows what might happen? (only kinda kidding)
  17. transparent aluminum! sorta... http://news.yahoo.com/s/livescience/scient...ofmattercreated
  18. put me down as a maybe as well... a friend is having their baby's 100 day celebration on that day.
  19. fine fine, I'll go look for little tiny scale doves tomorrow at the toy store...
  20. those things have every QC issue that yamato *ever* had but all in one toy... Anyways, I'm just going to keep gushing over the beagle... sad I waited this long
  21. Don't forget intake ratchets that don't just fall apart one day and leg locks that actually support the weight of the alpha in bot mode... your chances are nil. those are your chances.
  22. sorry... I try not to think about MI:2 unless I have to...
  23. yeah, "auto" is really only good for sunlight and the natural variations between morning to afternoon or dusk depending on your light and how good the camera is. For artificial lighting, you really need to set it manually or pick the right preset.
  24. try playing with your camera's white balance settings so you get more natural color.
