The region locking brings up another point. The companies themselves pretty much insure that bootlegging will take place.. unless they act quickly to distribute their products worldwide in a reasonable amount of time, price scaled for each specific region. Which is what Hollywood is starting to do.

I'm sure if MF continues to be popular bandai will revisit and continue to milk the license... but release a completely new sculpt right after they release a repaint of the original mold? I do see them doing stuff like adding the mat texture to the molds and re-releasing the line that way.

I just don't seem them releasing a complete resculpt though. If they were the MF movie line would have been the perfect excuse for it but we're just getting repaints.

true, it's an impressive sculpt, tons of details and pretty huge. I guess the price just throws me off since I'm not particularly impressed with the design... oh well, I'm sure it will make some fan very happy.
