I wouldn't mind lighting that's appropriate, like for the bridge, flood lights, windows, indicator lights, etc... but a light up macross cannon effect I wouldn't be so keen on, nor transformers style sound effects.
yeah, maybe if it were like the yamato vf-1 fast packs or the PG gundam kits where there was actually something to see but this just holds zero appeal for me.
err... no.
it's being advertised by yamato as a low viz type and it's been given something of a back story as well.. and that frame in question was from SDF:M I believe.
oh right, of course, how foolish of me to just accept what I read at face value. I should have realized your posts are actually clever little puzzles that need to be figured out to be understood.
oh, the main cannon... is that what he meant by "rail guns" ?
Yeah, I hope they include the destroyed version as well... and that it's not available as some timed convention exclusive or some other crap.
I hate them too.. I just got my package from VFTF1 and USPS says there is "no record of this item" even though my local postal worker just dropped it off and it's been in transit for nearly 3 weeks... Oh well, as long as it got here.
Okay... but think about it. Say Yamato does it your way and includes some 45 odd clips with their stands... any future toy that comes out is going to have to include their own clips anyways so we're back to square one.
There's a difference of 10-20% there on the downward alone... that's a huge difference. And there are real world examples of aircraft that fly with high maneuverability sans horizontal stabilizers. Just because the F-22 doesn't utilize that solution is hardly an indication that the feat cannot be done, especially when there's proof that it is possible.
Steve68, watch the video that anime52k8 posted, the VF-1 thrust vectoring has a range of movement far greater than what the F-22 shows in the video you posted.
but there are at least 5 different VF lines with 3 unique clips per design... makes far more sense to do it the way they are.
edit:: As in, what happens when they release the new VF design that Graham has mentioned? Or just a new toy line in general? Those stands work with more toys than just yamato's VF line.
And I don't know why you're bring in a discussion on accessories into this.
stop spreading lies.
It was already announced that the doll is the newest Toynami MP Sheryl in accordance with the latest super supreme court ruling that states that HG does in fact own all things macross.
