I never had a problem with vista being not stable, so I can't speak on that but it boots up a hell of a lot faster both from a cold boot and from waking up. Performance wise it's noticeably faster and lots of things are just easier and more logical.

While I love me the Serenity, she don't transform.

The default for the LCD on the D90 is for review only, if you want to use the LCD as your viewfinder hit the Lv button on the upper right corner of the LCD.
