Leliana becomes more effective when her back stabbing ability is fully powered up and she gets some of the nicer daggers enchanted... or if specialty arrows/bolts were cheaper. But yeah, if I know I'm gonna go kill something hard, like with wings, I switch her out for sten and his 2 handed, juggernaut armor wearing, enemy smashing goodness. -

Don't worry Gatsu, since you haven't berated anyone for not buying your offerings, no one confused it for one of your sale threads. -
I was going to say I wouldn't mind them going back and redoing a few key episodes with updated animation but keep all the original voice work... but that's DYRL.

Well, luckily I started off as a mage and just happened onto that combo from pretty early on. I play my mage as offensive caster, wynne as my heal bot and then leliana and alistair. I have to say, I think this is the first RPG where the mage has the advantage early on... a lot of mage spells can control enemy movement and the shatter combo really evens out battles right away, especially if you have alistair with the shielf bash or sten with a mual or something. -

I dunno, other than the uber bosses and dragons, the encounters are fairly easy for me (normal mode)... usually I freeze them in the opening salvo, shatter one while the tank shatters the other one and then take out the mages. Or freeze and bum rush mages, petrify then shatter. -

http://social.bioware.com/playerprofile.ph...;nid=2300406694 Here's mine. I'm actually enjoying the story a lot. It doesn't seem to capture the whole "epic" feel that ME did but personally I enjoy the party quests, interactions and side quests much more than I did with ME. -

Been playing Dragon Age on the 360, playing an elf mage and loving it. -
What's logical about making assumptions about the rate of interstellar travel of a movie you haven't seen, based on two trailers, neither of which even talk about how they're getting to this new planet? About as logical as throwing a tantrum, throwing a toy against the wall and then blaming the toy for making you do it? Maybe, a little less? Just for reference, when Xerxes (which wasn't even his own idea, just picking up for dear old dad who died before he could get going) invaded Greece, it took a year of marching, on land, by foot for them to reach Greece. The various crusades took place over 200 years, people walking and riding little boats to go fight for trade routes so the people on top could eat spices, like pepper. Then there was the 100 years war, which, while they didn't travel very far, they did stand around and fight for several generations. So, we have real world examples of people fighting wars that took place over generations, took months or years to get to go and fight, over ridiculously small and inconsequential things like spice and incense. But hey, you go on with your brand of "logic" where you make up stuff, ignore stuff, throw things against the wall and go on and on about how great you are. good luck with that.
-
seriously, you know back when people walked everywhere, it would take YEARS for people to plan wars, and then walk their armies thousands of miles so they could fight? And then, later, they would ride horses and sail ships for MONTHS so they could go and fight? You do know that concern for the participant's comfort and convenience has never been a big consideration when it comes to waging war? So, if humans have been willing to fight a war where everyone either walked for months or years to go fight wars, wars that lasted for decades or more... why are you so hung up on the idea that a space faring civilization wouldn't go fight wars on some podunk jungle planet somewhere else?

Just him thinking he was ever the paradigm of manliness is a joke. He was always the prissy boy sidekick to the actual machismo fueled lead. -
Oh my god, they want to make more money! Holy keen observation gatsu! Why, what sort of economic system would we have where successful businesses try to make more money??? Please go back to trolling the "for sale section" with your ugly poo.

Battlestar Galactica Discussion III

I agree with Mog. You should really watch the show before going off on some little tear on what BSG is or isn't doing in the gender war because honestly, Dirk interpretation and portrayal of the show is just flat out wrong. If you want to have a discussion on gender roles, this really isn't the place for that. But Dirk's article wasn't about that either, it was misogyny fueled rantings of a small minded man who's seen his sun set into obscurity and he's lashing out in a rather pathetic way to try and crawl back into relevancy. -
right. In aperture mode you control the ISO (assuming you have that on manual) and the aperture setting, the AI decides on the best shutter speed given those two other factors. Shutter mode, you control the shutter speed and the AI controls the aperture. If you try aperture mode in brighter light you'll see the shutter speed change accordingly.

Okay, let's use Takara. My 1st release MP Convoy came with loose ankles that can barely support the figure when standing ram rod straight, chrome paint spilled all over the top of the cab and one of the diecast chest doors bent to the point where the locking tab is useless and consequently swings open at the slightest provocation, there's no way to have the hand firmly hold the gun in place and from what I've read the more recent releases of the Convoy sculpt introduced more QC and fit issues. The MP SS wing assembly is prone to stress marks and cracking because they inscribed a panel line right over the part of the joint that receives the most stress. The fact of the matter is, other than a few isolated incidents, most of the complaints about the yf-19 aren't design issues but a mix of user error or people wanting features it just doesn't have and wasn't designed to have.

It's not as simple as that.. there are human factors like the understandable workers over tightening screws or not inserting pins correctly and then there's the unforeseen like some factory manager trying to come in under budget and using substandard materials instead of the more expensive ones paid for by the company. Even HUGE companies like hasbro and matel have recalls due to material failures.. hell, even the recent bandai DX line has it's oqn QC and manufacturing problems.

In all modes but auto, the scroll wheel by the shutter button controls the aperture, on the top LCD display that number will be in the upper right "F 11", the shutter speed is controlled by the scroll wheel on the back and that number is displayed to the left of the aperture setting. your exposure is shown in the glass viewfinder on the bottom middle: + | | 0 | | - The meter will go left or right indicating whether the scene is under, over or "just right".

wow...small minded, bitter and not just a little misogynistic. And delusional... him comparing Starbuck to Hamlet? What a joke, and completely missing the point that "Kara Thrace" isn't just his version of Starbuck but as a woman. The scripts and personal stories are different and even though Kara has enough machismo and testosterone to bury Dirk's fancy boy Starbuck, the writer's and Katee Sackhoff managed to never lose sight of the character's femininity and the very real differences between men and women. -
Will there be prizes? What does Ruskii get when he wins? ;p

yup, I remember pretty much everyone had them on sale, trying to dump their stock. Then one day they exploded and everyone wanted one. I'm still meh on it though, I don't care for the cotton ball camo at all.

Well, I think figure A is blown out.. the sky and clouds read as very "hot" to me and I see that some of the flower pod is in focus but it may be just the compression but the flower petals look fuzzy while the pod around it is sharper. B, the whole flower, stem, plant, everything is in focus. I think if you had been able to get a tighter shot of the flower, with the same depth of field but take the exposure down a step or two to maintain contrast, the results would be better my example of what I'm talking about
