    The problem is we have working theories on how the pyramids were built. We have evidence of the evolution of the form and the techniques used to build them. Same for the pyramid forms in South America. We have egyptian records on food production, we know where the rock was quarried... we have all this information and yet the conspiracy theorists keep claiming that it's "impossible" for ancient egyptians to have built the pyramids. Yet when we have a euro mega work, stonehenge, it's all about how it was a prehistoric religious artifact and not some alien built something or other.

    I don't think the racism is thinly veiled at all. It's rather blatant. In the same sort of fashion that Genghis Kahn is called a barbarian and Alexander is called the "great".

    yeah, console normal has 0% friendly fire. which makes tactics like indiscriminate cone of cold and using a fireball to get out of a mob perfectly good ideas.

    I think it's just normal mode that's messed up, with no FF, you can spray area effect spells with abandon, with it turned on, cone of cold becomes pretty dangerous unless you have your frontline guys outfitted with cold resistance gear.

    AS soon as , I knew they were gonna resolve the episode the way they did... they (the SG writers) have done this particular plot so many times. soooooooooooooooooooooo many times.

    If we're grading on sheer quantity of stuff? A+ If we're grading on quality of stuff? Anywhere from passable to excellent from the looks of it. Personally, I think the only fault in Bandai is that they released too much stuff, too quickly and some of the earlier products suffered in quality and design because of it... and that's not much of a knock at all. So, praises to Bandai for finally taking macross seriously and getting behind it with a major merchandising push while simultaneously allowing their competitor access to older licenses.

    Why yes, that's actual a pivotal character moment for a main protagonist character in BSG even though it could be argued that his feelings for the "other woman" ran far deeper for far longer and that most fans fully expected the protagonist and his other woman to get together eventually. And... get this, in BSG, the other woman and the wife were also main characters and not just some recurring guest role that pops up for 2 mins every now and then.

    Not really, the achievements in DA just come from playing the story, different game choices unlock different achievements. It's worth doing all the party quests though as the more they like you character specific talents are unlocked for that member. Some of the party quests give you access to nice character specific weapons or armor though.

    finished on normal as a good-ish elf mage... there's LOTS of decisions all over the last act, invites many replays... The golem DLC doesn't seem to be fully integrated into the end though.

    It looks perfectly fine for what it is, I'm just not a fan of the sub-genre.

    yes yes, that's what it is, I'm just soooo stilted. I'll have you know sir, that not only do I not own a pair of stilts I have never even, in fact, been on a pair of stilts due to my horrible consuming fear of clowns.
