  1. Finally got around to putting in some time on the MW2 single player campaign and, what the hell, it's over already? It was neat.. I guess. I still hate their infinitely spawning choke hold level design and the way enemies just magically appear depending on where you go and it's nice to see that Tom Clancey has an heir apparent in the "deus ex machina = plot" school of story telling. Action sequences were fun but it really lacked originality, as the game suffers from a huge case of "rinse and repeat" not just compared to the previous MW but from it's own level designs. Oh well, multiplayer is still amazingly fun.
  2. Not a fan of either episode for me as well. Black Market is just a bad episode. Feels rushed and obvious that they knew what they wanted but not how to get it. Didn't like Scar because, I just don't like Kat all that much and I didn't think it was particularly realistic how she went from a drugged out loser to a respected hot shot Ace that other pilots would give a rats ass about... especially considering what a whiny self righteous b!tch she is for the *entire* episode.
  3. no, the cylon god doesn't belong to sharon, it IS sharon. silly.
  4. WHAT??? It has everything to do with everything. You'll see, it all ties in together in the final episode where you find out Sharon is actually the great Cylon God.
  5. no, that weird time travel arc where the galactica gets stuck in a causal loop and has to save the galactica from the original colony migration, only to send it back to be destroyed in order to save themselves.
  6. luckily my TV went out on the last month of it's warranty and samsung ended up upgrading me to the next year's model and a larger size 46 -> 52. you know, there's a chance that the stand peg could be pinching the feed cable to the screen causing the banding issue. If he's not gonna pay for the repair he might just want to take a look and see. On my unit, the problem actually went away when I resat the tv on the stand... I didn't tell samsung that though, I just fiddled with it until it came back.
  7. Had a similar thing happen to me. The board is busted, call samsung, they'll have to replace it.
  8. that's so awesome!
  9. their mothership is shaped like a giant muffit, Ron said it was an homage but the fans were pissed. I dunno, I think lizard people should have their own aesthetic but giant monkey dog shapped spaceships was a bit hard to swallow.
  10. Well, soon the lizard men show up and it all goes down hill.
  11. Got my amazon box set today, the metal enterprise is quite impressive.
  12. The dragon age facebook page is teasing: "If I was a fan of Dragon Age: Origins, I'd be keeping my eye open for something cool coming tomorrow. Just saying."
  13. I get it's "hot" to some people, who fancy unrealistically hot lesbians having the sex, I get it because I fall into that demographics, but my point is, all the sex on TV is between unrealistically hot people.
  14. I don't get why "hawt" lesbian sex is exploitive when all the hetero sex on TV is between two "hawt" people as well.
  15. in that case... Adama is a cylo....
  16. that's not quite right...
  17. Which just makes "the plan" so much shittier in comparison.
  18. Razor is totally worth watching.
  19. obviously, you've never owned an 84 volvo...
  20. near the beginning of the ruins, there's a little ghost kid that you can talk to, "Hey there ghost boy, do you know casper? Tell that punk he owes me money!" if you look around there's a tablet that has the steps to the elven purity ritual.
  21. did you get the tablet in the room with the ghost boy?
  22. you can have 100% and not get that scene, it's all in how you follow her dialog tree
  23. true, but it's not that big of a deal, a moment or two is usually all I need to shatter and and then use the fire or lightning attacks to clear the field. Then the tanks defrost and everyone is happy.
  24. It's pretty clear, there are people who are quick to debunk the alien + stonehenge myth, and just from breaking down the numbers, the euro+alien connection is a 1/3rd less popular than the non-euro+alien connection. Yet the same is not true for aliens + pyramids, in fact, many UFO conspiracy folk actively point to the pyramids as their "proof" If your point is that alien conspiracy theories have a not so subtle undercurrent of racism then yes, I'm proving your point.
  25. sure, 2 million hits in google, compared to 6 million for "pyramids aliens" for stonehenge + aliens, by the third entry we already have people debunking the alien connection The first page for pyamids + aliens is almost entirely pro-alien sites, even going for aliens in china... If you look at the wiki article: ancient astronauts, nearly all the "evidence" is from non european sources. Do a google search for "ancient alien evidence" once again, nearly all non-european "evidence", most of the main hits pointing to ancient egypt with some south american and chinese stuff thrown in for flavor.
