maybe before but the show has taken great lengths to show how he's a coward and this latest bit of mustache twirling villainous machinations isn't really helping. But whatever, Stargate has always had one dimensional villains.
The thing I don't like about how they're treating Rush is he's becoming more and more of a 2D cookie cutter villain. He was much more interesting in the first few episodes where they really played with the idea that maybe Young just had it in for Rush.
The frame on the 00 is really not PG worthy. The locks are neat but in the legs the upper part of the double knee joint has a nice ratchet joint, I would have been happy to have ratchets in the main joints and just more detail throughout. Detail wise it doesn't compare to even the Mk II kit though posability seem similar so far.

I would also recommend a good book:
Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson is a great resource for beginners
and I also like

it's been happening for a while: shields, valks with faces, things dangling off of hips, glowing knives, giant things hanging off of the back, little ankle guard things, giant laser guns...
nope, the way the shoulder armor piece is designed it hits the little vernier thruster and you only get like 1 degree of movement. The arm will pivot down so the arm can be positioned against the body but not up because then the shoulder armor will hit the assembly and stop the up movement.
nope, the vf-1, 0, 11, 19 and 21 can move their arms up and down while the shoulder stays where it's supposed to be. The 25 moves the entire shoulder assembly up and down so that if you want to raise the arm the whole shoulder is now up near the head.
