actually that comparison is misleading. The 1d has a squat, box shaped head head while the 1s head is elongated. a 1/48 could use something like the pop-out necks on the vf-0 line or a slightly compromised 1d head like in the 1d customs... I realize that a toy isn't going to 100% match the line art, especially the old stuff, but the head placement is really off on the 1/60 ver. 2.0. Out of all of the transforming vf-1 toys, it's the only toy to put the head up so high

so what did you do to get the chest armor to work with the 1d chest plate?

basically I cut out a small piece of metal from .008 in tin. I cut the wall (arrow) and bent a little hook to hold the metal insert in place and glued it all in with crazy glue. The I used a small nail to punch a hole, ta-da, now there's a metal reinforced hinge. you have to file down the other side of the hinge to make sure it will all fold down properly for fighter mode.

It doesn't bother me. I think the armor is great. I'm just bummed they recycled old stock.

It's worse than that because not all the parts yellow at the same rate... so the little elbow hinge parts yellow faster than the biceps, etc. It's all very amusing.

Well, my shoulder does hurt every now and then... what really happened... Peter's original post was that if Exo's avatar were really him/her(?) than peter was actually a little red toy car. But now it looks like when you edit your post those changes are applied to your quoted text as well.

I took a closer look and yes, there's a noticeable difference between the head, body and GBP hands

didn't notice it but I did notice my original hikaru ij has some yellowing on some parts
