    Considering what a hugely derivative work Star Wars is, I have a hard time giving it that sort of accolade. It may be the series that most people have come to associate with what SW gets credit for but the only it really innovated was merchandising tie ins.

    Actually, I just do it to test out new weapon configs (energy drain not effectiveness). It's always fun to see a big furball with a couple mirandas holding off two or three mobs, and the fly by and kill them all. It's also kinda mean cuz I end up getting all the loot but I figure I make up for it by ending their deep space encounter significantly quicker than if I weren't there.

    if you're just gold farming, just soloing the lower level deep space encounters can get you some good loot to sell. It's amazing what mk VIII weapons can do in the sirius setor.

    Nice. I'm seeing a lot of galaxy class ships now out around DS9. Still far more defiants and intrepids but it's always nice to see a galaxy or two swoop in and soak up the damage.

    well, they finally fixed that borg hunt mission. But the subsequent mission is to just do it over and over again, 10 times. It gets old.

    I'm not assuming the worst, I'm just assuming based on what I see. It looks great when propped up and slumpy when it's not, that's all.

    oh, if you're talking about the G50, i have the G51. I love it.

    Maybe, but when it comes to bandai I have zero faith that the production unit will be any better than the prototypes shown. I remember how people here kept telling me how the DX vf-25 was going to be magically superior to the production shots being shown and surprise surprise, it wasn't. So I'll believe the dx vb-6 isn't a floppy mess when I see proof that it isn't.

    asus. I have an asus with the gtx 260m. If your focus is for gaming the better graphics card is going to get you a lot further than the CPU.

    meh, if that's the final product, easy pass. It looks like a floppy mess in that picture. edit: the pictures in the other thread are much nicer but they all have a stand propping it up. I'll wait for better posed/transformed pics sans stand before I cheer.

    oh ye of little faith. If they can take a series of short stories detailing the interaction of human and robot psychology and turn it into a will smith action vehicle where he crashes motorcycles and has fist fights with robots on hover cars, just imagine how awesome the Foundation movie(s) will be?

    hah, it was actually a +2 with some escorts and there were two of us in akira variants and 1 defiant.

    yeah, the scimitars are not the valdore. They do have neat animation where those things pop up on the wings and then they kill you with their uber beam attack. makes me wonder why the intrepid doesn't have the nacelle pylon animation.

    Oh, I agree, Hurt Locker is by the far the superior film compared to either D9 or Avatar. I'm just saying that D9 wasn't a particularly subtle or nuanced movie. Avatar, at least, didn't pretend to be.

    250GT, the difference in performance is well worth the money.
