    why? because they're lighter and smaller and you can get a tighter crop without losing depth of field. I don't know why you guys think a full frame just automatically means better. It matters what you're using the camera and lens for. As far as DX and EF-S lenses sucking, well, that's your opinion, completely unfounded and without merit, but hey, isn't that what opinions are for?

    nope, that's not quite right. If it's the same pixel count than a full frame will give better ISO, etc etc, but if you're comparing a 20+ megapixel camera to a 12 megapixel DX then no the full frame will underperform the DX in color reproduction, ISO performance. they each have their own uses. full frame is nice for studio or landscape work but zoom intensive stuff like birding or sports you'll often find people using and recommending DX bodies. anyways, without the ridiculous, I bought a canon and know I made a mistake so I have to act like a fanboy every chance I get to reassure myself I didn't waste my money, rhetoric, the current crop of 20+ megapixel nikons underperform the canon comparables and nikon has put far more emphasis on their DX lenses than their full frame lenses.

    congrats on the marriage man! Yeah, I try to play the game so that there's only 1 major super power on each land mass by the time tanks and airplanes are available. Otherwise the war mechanic just kills the end game game for me which I prefer to play as a space race

    the loot versus rewards really needs to be looked into. I've rarely gotten loot that was anywhere near as good as the rewards you get for missions.

    I actually thought the runabout would be like a little fighter type ship you could launch and not just a really expensive little sunday drive thing to take around on trips to the grocery store.

    sure, but if you're going to go through the trouble of getting a "high end" sound card for your computer and then you're plugging in "pc speakers", what's the point? I mean, I probably wouldn't rush out and get another set of def tech (or paradigm) speakers for my computer but even a decent low end klipsch speakers on an old amp is going to give you MUCH better sound than any boxed pc speaker setup. Though, I have to admit I did like those old cambridge soundworks setups from around 10 years ago. But even those had absolute poo for mid and low range.

    Bose, as a company, makes crap products. They used to make quality stuff waaaay back when but modern Bose is just crap. Granted, all those "pc" speaker sets are crap, so maybe Bose is the very best of the crap but king of crap is still crap.

    apparently it's DPS based which is complete bullshit. It rewards people who are higher ranked than you, already have better gear than you and it massively penalizes cruisers. I think it's one reason why people stop teaming up in DSE or fleet actions. There's few people who actually bother with healing/buffing team mates and it can really hurt your chances of scoring loot. It also encourages higher level people to farm lower levels to get loot they weren't able to get when they were the appropriate level for the area in the first place. when I was in romulan space in my sector appropriate akira I would constantly find myself playing with mid level captains. It's great just to pass the mission but it got annoying very quickly when I realized the Luna class sporting mk 9 beams was getting all drops.
