  1. the whole skill point thing needs to be redone. It's easily the worst skill tree I've ever seen.
  2. ill fitting parts in fighter mode, gouges in the back of the legs, wonky battroid proportions, fat gullet. the 1/100 has those little snap in parts for the legs though, that's nice, makes it look better but it's also lacking landing gears (what's the excuse on a partsformer?) gun can't stow in fightermode, has gaps along the wing root and leg in fighter mode, a bulging back in fighter mode, poor fit between the shield and legs in fighter mode, mismatched color between parts. and then there's just the annoying stuff like the hand selection and the typical web'sclusive bullshit. If you don't care about fighter mode it's a great little figure. I personally consider the fighter mode more important than the battroid when it comes to valkyries and find vf-19 to be more than a little disappointing. But great for everyone that likes it and the line. I'll be happy to pick something up that hasn't already been done 2 or 3 or 5 times before.
  3. Just because you make fun of the situation doesn't mean it's not true! Every vf-11's leg will fall off! Quick, everyone dismantle your toy and do SOMETHING to fix it now!!!
  4. True, I forgot about you. The two of you balance out scream man who the best luck, even his vf-0s didn't go 'splodey.
  5. nice, thats the first pic i've seen where those missiles look good.
  6. well, the stuff I didn't like about the yammie anyways, gullet, the giant gaps in the legs, mismatching shoulder things in fighter mode. but you're right. It has it's own issues without having to bring up the yammie.
  7. yup, exactly my point. has all the problems the yammie 1/60 yf=19 has despite it being a parts-former. good job bandai!
  8. here's google's safe browsing thingy http://safebrowsing.clients.google.com/saf...me&hl=en-US
  9. I keep getting malware warnings on random pages and threads about www.macross.com.cn this time when I was trying to get into: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...mp;#entry833487 anyone else getting this or know how or why that site is linked to this one?
  10. you have the worst luck
  11. but then they'd have to figure it out for themselves... <looks over at his dx vf-25>
  12. the bandai stand is an atrocious piece of junk. well, pieces of junk, cuz it has a half dozen attachments. Why would a stand need 6 attachments for 3 modes? Because, it's a piece of junk. Get the flexi stands, they're awesome and you can pose it a variety of angles, unlike the bandai stand which is fixed with a giant holding thing monstrosity that totally kills any sense of flight or lightness that you'd expect considering it's a plane.
  13. I like the advanced escort look (they remind me of that hero ship from B5) but I don't like their console distribution.
  14. jet li never said Fearless was his last action movie, just his last traditional wushu movie. BIG difference.
  15. I love the fleet escort class ships, they just look st brutal and thuggish.
  16. the ankle locks aren't as tight as the 25's but they'll hold it up if you're just placing the toy down after you pose it, it won't collapse under it's own weight like the vf-0s did (does?)
  17. What we're pointing out is two things. One, the massive amount of hyperbole when talking about "exploding shoulders" and the people running around telling everyone, "THEY WILL BREAK!" and two, the lack of critical thinking, "I did this so it must have fixed it". You're telling us to prove a negative, if it makes you feel better go ahead. But for someone who lacks modeling experience, punching out pins and popping them back in may easily cause more harm than good. Why take the risk if there's no sign of damage? I've had people screaming that my roy's shoulders were going to explode any minute now, that was months ago. Similarly that my hikaru 1s and hikaru 1j and whichever other ones were going to explode, just fall apart sitting in boxes, etc etc, hasn't happened. No sign of stress marks, cracks, etc and I regularly pose and transform my figures. So, we don't even have a strong correlation that knurled pins = busted shoulders but we're telling people to punch them out and "fix them"? Anyways, I'm out, good luck with voodoo logic. Last night I wished it would stop raining today so my kid could go play soccer, and look, it stopped raining, guess that means I control the weather, huh?
  18. no need my friend, if you take a picture of them with a nikon camera first thing, they won't break. See, when I got my roy 1s all I had was a panasonic point and shoot and what happened? Shoulder broke. All the other ones I have I got post Nikon D90 and they haven't broken, so it's obvious, Nikon saves lives while panasonic somehow causes catastrophic autism inducing shoulder failures. It's a 100% correlation so it must be true.
  19. see, just because you did that doesn't mean you fixed it, it might have never busted. I have the hikaru 1s, no problems, just like my two hikaru 1js. And yeah, the lower leg clicks down away from the thigh for gerwalk mode
  20. I agree when it comes to the roy vf-1s and even the hikaru 1a, chances are they're going to fail anyways so why not? but not with the later releases. The failure rate seems awfully low, even on this board where we freak out over the slightest flaw.
  21. so I just answered a survey from cryptic and got 240 cryptic points, enough to buy me a fed klink
  22. one side drags, I prop that side up on the wheel.
  23. The tail is supposed to be there.
  24. little bit too high, like the yammies are a little bit too low.
