  1. I'm sure this will be $220 at NY to start with.
  2. Yeah, seems like Arcadia is just cashing in. Bad sign for people looking for any real innovation like what Yamato gave us. Seems like bad business too... release a rather fruity color scheme of a toy people have multiple copies of at a super high price. Could be a disaster if people don't buy them and Arcadia gets cold feet for future releases.
  3. Didn't say they were villains, just noting that Mandarake has gotten into the game too. I'm very relaxed. haha
  4. They aren't screwing them, that's just the business. you can't buy things for what you sell it for. The upside is the seller gets cash right away, even if it's a 1/3 of the price.
  5. Just got this guy for a fantastic price: https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-k165975029 Very excited
  6. Sites like mandarake have driven up their own prices because of auction prices though. I think yahoo auctions is a good gauge, but it doesn't include the cost of import. The truth is somewhere below most ebay prices and above most yahoo prices. Also...as I said before, the only valid results are sold prices. Listed prices mean very little.
  7. Whats the trick to see how many are in stock?
  8. I got your frenzy right here! Waiting on my VF-1J TV Hikaru, A Tomahawk Destroid Tan colored, A DYRL Kazkaki with Super/strike parts, and another Scopedog
  9. I'm hoping to see some good costumes at animazement this weekend. haha
  10. Luca comes out next month! Can't wait.
  11. They overpaid on that Sv-51. Oof.
  12. I like the weathered destroids, as they should be a bit dirtier than their flying counterparts. I think it makes the Valks just look.. dirty and old. Personal preference of course.

1/60 is on the left, 1/72 is on the right. You should have paid around $180+ for the 1/60. the 1/72 runs anywhere from $30-80 bucks. 1/60 is mostly plastic, 1/72 has more diecast. There are two version of the 1/72. The early version did not have a pilot. The later version did and had improved joints. The 1/60 did come with a pilot.
  14. Yeah I stopped it halfway through. I hate trailers these days. Looks a lot better than I thought so far though.
  15. Schedule is up: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B6_ts7-_Va7xS1pDWkhiSHEzR2s/edit Haruhiko Mikimoto Saturday 3:00 Pm A14 301B
  16. 2 more days til Mikimoto!! I wonder if any of the dealers will be selling Valks Also, any suggestions on a good Marker for Mikimoto to sign with?
  17. Hahaha. Feet through the floorboard. Nice.
  18. Yeah, I'm not sure how it works. Maybe Bandai's return policy is strict, or they don't have that much stock left. I would just ask for a refund. Plenty of people are selling them elsewhere.
  19. Well, I guess NY sees it as a net negative for them. If they just send you a part then they have a valk they can't sell as new, and they lose out completely. I'm not saying I agree with them or their customer service, but it doesn't make sense from a business perspective to take that large of a hit becasue of Bandai's mistakes and shitty quality control. Keeping in mind that even though they are overcharging for items, their mark-up isn't massive as their is a lot of competition in a limited market. I would just send it back, ask them to pay return shipping if they want to keep your business, and get a full refund. Then just go buy a new one from somewhere else and hope you don't get another missing piece. Good luck to you, I'm sure it sucks.
  20. Thought they were the same guy. haha
  21. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamato-1-60-Macross-DYRL-VF-1A-VALKYRIE-Max-Jenius-Custom-Version-Robotech-/121095573047 I still don't get what this daryclay/esthertool guys is doing... Is he buying up anything he can and flipping it? Or is he buying his own auctions. So frakking perplexing. haha
