You obviously haven't seen the movie. There is literally nothing in it about hating men. Ryan Gosling was incredibly likeable. As were the other male characters. It was hilarious.- 66 replies

I mean I did censor myself. 😁 But I am actually going to tone it back 100% because I tire of this thread. Have fun!

Why does nobody blame JJ Abrams? The guy is a total hack. Is it just "go up the chain to the first woman you find?" 🤣 Do you guys even know what a movie producers job is?

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, in theaters summer 2023

I think some people in this thread would get along better with the bad guys from Indiana Jones than most fans of the movies. 🤣- 355 replies

These look arguably better than anything in the Classified line, and certainly better than anything else Hasbro has done since the original ARAH line.

Yeah. I'm not opposed to a well executed Armored Legioss, but this isn't it. I like the knee armor though.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, in theaters summer 2023

I thought Helena was a breath of fresh air and the best part of the movie. She exudes charm, I loved her. Indy is old so you need another hero character to go with him obviously, and if it was another dude the movie would be a big sausage fest. A woman is the only option that makes sense here. I think the Indy franchise could continue as movies set in the same universe. Who could resist a movie staring Helena and Short Round? Just have Indy as a side character who makes a cameo (assuming he doesn't die first).- 355 replies

Amazing. I was expecting, because it's you, that the rover would transform somehow, but that mech looks way too good to have come from a transformation. The way the lower legs split is fantastic.

Also I'm very excited about this set: Two different colored canopies in one set. And none of them are "City" color canopies (trans clear/trans light blue/trans black). This almost looks like the kind of brand new Space sets I find randomly in toy stores...when I'm having a really good dream.

I finally did something I've been meaning to do for a while: build the Galaxy Explorer ground base with the left over parts from the One Man Spaceship build. Here it is: Interior shot: More pics here.

PROJECT A-KO (any other fans out there?)
danth replied to 505thAirborne's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
You know I actually didn't like A-ko the first time I watched it? I think the problem was I was 16 and it wasn't a mecha show. Although there *is* a ton of mecha in A-ko so I don't know what I was thinking; maybe because she wasn't piloting them? Now I love it though, including all the non-mecha parts. (Same with Totoro. Didn't like it when I saw it 25ish years ago because No Mecha. Love it now.) -
PROJECT A-KO (any other fans out there?)
danth replied to 505thAirborne's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
Aaand I just bought all 4 Blu Rays from RightStuf. Been a while since I've bought any anime. But I love A-ko and I'm hoping the remasters improved the video quality. I have the old DVDs but man, the masters used for the sequels were in bad shape if I remember correctly. -
Thanks friend! Thanks a bunch! Always glad to hear when the transformation isn't too obvious.

I've got another MOC to share. This was originally an entry in a Eurobricks contest. I had simple requirements (imposed by myself, not the contest): it must be a space ship, it must split into two spaceships, and each must transform. I rushed at the end to finish it, and it worked, but there were lots of things I didn't like about it. So I spent some months tweaking it, and now I like it a lot more. Here it is: space ship mode! Just the small front spaceship: Just the large rear spaceship: Small spaceship robot mode: Large spaceship gerwalk & robot modes: I tried to make this thing rock solid. Both bots are sturdy and poseable, and in space ship mode things generally click into place pretty well. There are just a few weak connections at the edges but nothing structurally unsound. Anyway I really need to take some better pics. And do some fancy backgrounds. Anyone have any tips for that? I usually use GIMP to auto detect & remove backgrounds but I always find it a PITA with lots of manual touch up needed.

Pretty cool Ninjago Motorcycle mech coming out. Strong Megazone vibes.

Wow! That is really slick. It even has the recessed canopy. I prefer the sais to the new X-Wing's flippers.

NICE! The way the bed turns into the legs/feet is just perfect. Also love how the cabin separates to become the chest. Gotta have buff robot pecs!

Finally got my Super 7 Snake Eyes! I would say I'm "whelmed". No surprises, looks exactly like the pictures. Which is good because the pictures looked great and the figure does too. The poseability isn't spectacular but it's fine. Nothing double jointed, no kneeling poses or anything. Basically what you would expect. I definitely can't justify the price. If it were more reasonable I'd be down for, well, the whole line maybe. Maybe I'll pick up a few more if they go on sale. Definitely in for a V2 Snake Eyes if it happens.
