    You know, even with the wonky proportions and questionable design decisions (knees/thighs/tailfin hinge), it's still a PT 1/72 snap-together kit with integral heat shield and landing gear. Pretty damn cool. I might have to pick a few up.

    So I got Thundercracker recently and I'm not really digging it. I wanted a Kawamori-designed Seeker, and it was the cheapest one without the hip kibble. But it's kinda wonky. The chest doesn't lock into place and moves when you move the arms, the entire torso doesn't lock into place and slides whenever I pick it up. Also the nose in jet mode doesn't seem to really fit tightly together and leaves a small gap between the canopy pieces. Plus the thing is huge and I just don't know how much room I have for toys that aren't valkyries. Maybe I'll stick with Macross for transforming jets and Transformers for the cars only.

    Thanks, I just snagged it from there, assuming they don't cancel my order. I was thinking about passing on it but I panicked when TFSource stopped taking preorders. It's a friggin' yellow Lamborghini Countach; I can't help myself. I'd be happy with any of those.

    Arcadia could have released virtually any other scheme, canon re-release or non-canon, and I would totally buy it. But this ugly thing? No. I just can't stand the look of it. Now that Blue Rose custom, hot damn I would pre-order multiples of that.

    Thanks for the tip David. I had the legs right, and I had the doors flipped, but I didn't have the doors tucked in as far as they could go. I just fixed that and they are no longer visible from the front. Now debating whether to get Sunstreaker Tigertrack. Hmmm...

    Cobra Fang, Trubble Bubble, Claw, and Firebat are all pretty small. GI Joe Skyhawk, Silver Mirage, Wolverine, etc. Lots of options. Even the Hiss tank wasn't that big.

    I think it's kinda cool from a GI Joe collector perspective. From a transforming toy collector perspective, not so much. Actually, we've had so many transformers crossovers like Star Wars Transformers and stuff, but why never a real GI Joe/Transformers toy crossover? I guess there was a transforming Snow Cat but I mean in Joe scale.

    Well...I just found out something. Apparently it has happened before that Takara Tomy has opened their own Masterpiece toys to inspect them, and then sealed them again, meaning they were double-taped like the Red Alert I received. Which means my seller may have been telling the truth...who knew? Anyway. Masterpiece Red Alert is awesome! I just got Sideswipe today as well and can't wait to pose them together. Transformers are seriously dangerous. I'm trying to make some rational buying guideline other than "BUY THEM ALL."

    Came here to vent. I got my first Transformers toy since Alternators today, Masterpiece Red Alert, and I was super stoked until I opened the box it was mailed in. It was obviously used even though it was listed as brand new. The outer box had the tape cut and a second piece of tape over it. The inner box's tape was damaged from being opened before. Worse, the guns had paint smears on the handles from being used! The Amazon seller was HobbyYeah. Letting you all know so you can avoid them! I've emailed them; we'll see what they say. Seriously, I'm sick of bad sellers. Especially when they try to pull a fast one. Grrr!
