    I recently snagged on of those MIB on eBay for a pretty sweet price. Low enough that I won't feel bad building it. I was just talking to a guy on Bricklink from whom I bought a Solar Snooper and I mentioned the Megacore Magnetizer. He replied with this. He said he had five of them and one on the way. Have you seen the builds of the Megacore Magnetizer in other space themes like Class Space, Futuron, Blacktron, and Ice Planet? They're friggin' sweet. Here's one in Spyrius colors.

    Easy: 1) It's very hard to buy a loose set that is actually complete. We're talking about hundreds of pieces, many of which are easily confused for others. I bought a few loose sets, but after getting enough missing parts or with wrong parts I gave up. I see auctions for GI Joes all the time with the wrong accessories sold as "complete" and those have like 5 accessories average. With Lego sets it's almost impossible. 2) I really just enjoy the feeling of opening a new Lego set. It's like no other feeling. Beats the hell out of buying a set and having it come preassembled. What am I going to do, take it apart and then put it back together? Pointless. More than any other toy, it's pointless to get Lego sets that aren't MIB, in my opinion. Wait, whaaa? No way, they still make the classic space grey colors? EDIT: According to Bricklink those pieces are actually light bluish gray, not light gray (classic space gray).

    I've been buying a lot of MIB old space sets on eBay. It's becoming a sickness. An expensive sickness. I'm thinking I might have to let my YF-19 preorder lapse because I've spent so much money already this month. I blame the internet.

    Man how I wish Lego would release more generic space sets like that. I want to play in my own universe without the taint of licensed parts.

    Ding ding ding! I think people are too busy fellating Kawamori to realize that he's a normal person who can change his mind. A series about the Megaroad (and Hikaru and Misa) would be awesome, the ultimate reward to people who have been supporting the franchise. I'd also love to see some official Supervision Army mecha. That would be way to cool to actually happen though. I hope it's not a reboot or a retread. And I hope there's no high school, and no characters under 18 unless they die horribly. But most of all I hope we get some HARUHIKO MIKIMOTO character designs, god damn it. Some Ichiro Itano-directed mecha fights would be nice as well.

    They would have got a lot more money from me if their Legioss wasn't a floppy mosquito. Or if their Ride Armors had any sort of structural integrity.

    Noob question time. I have the Luca green VF-25. Is there a way to detach the big antenna thing that sticks down in fighter mode? It appears to be fixed to the arm but I can't tell for sure if it will detach or not.

    Seems like putting the rotation points further out and further down would result in the same thing without need of the slider.

    I agree. I had a VF-0A once but I just couldn't get excited about it. Sold it. To me it was just a rehash of the VF-1. The VF-0D on the other hand has a freaking delta wing which is very exciting.

    I wish there was news of another VF-1 release. Max, Miria, Brownie, anything. But especially a Super Ostrich. I would think it would be like printing money.

    Yeah, there's no way a Macross Lego set is getting made. I've met like two people in real life who even know what Macross is. It just wouldn't sell.
