  1. Be careful with the hands. The tail fin sliced one of my Legioss' thumbs clean off when transforming to fighter mode. And it was easy to do. There's barely enough room inside the forearm, plenty of ways to orient the hand incorrectly, and nothing protecting the hands from the tailfin, and you have to use force to squeeze everything into place. I'm shocked more people haven't experienced it. Luckily I got a replacement hand.
  2. I wish the wingtip guns and front canards were optional/removable. If they're gonna put hardpoints all over the damn thing, why not make the weird bits optional?
  3. Yeah...adding an additional set of tailfins to the front kinda feels like something AI would do.
  4. Not a fan of this particular variation, but if they do a delta wing I might be into it. Hopefully withOUT yellow/gold/orange this time.
  5. I don't think this is true, and historically, these kind of forced gimmicks fail. Vidiyo, Hidden Side, Dimensions... The Mario theme is doing okay, I presume, probably due to the popularity of the franchise, and the quality of set designs, and if I had to guess, not at all due to the weird Mario/Luigi figures with the embedded electronics. For instance, I bought this set, but I have no interest in the Mario figure (shown faded out). But even though I don't really like that Mario figure, at least it makes sense. Mario is basically the "smart brick" in these sets, and his expressions and speech change based on the tiles he interacts with. You move him around, he says things and makes faces. That makes sense. But just having a brick, sitting there in a exposed in a weird spot, making primitive noises and flashing? That doesn't really work. What's well integrated in Mario sets is weirdly forced into these Star Wars sets.
  6. Nice! He wasn't even on my radar until the Galaxy Explorer. Full agreement!
  7. You're not wrong. The jet design is kinda whatever. I just like that you get a whole ass jet and a cool car in one set at $30. I like the jet's colors and prints, and the windscreen. I'm not sure about the angular nose, and the wings are literally just wedge plates. What do you think of Mike Psiaki's Blue Power Jet?
  8. The 2026 City lineup seems really strong to me, and for the first time, all but the very largest sets have only prints. I like to think it's due to his PTSD from leading Sticker Champions. The Jet vs Car set looks surprisingly good, in terms of subject matter, value, and lack of stickers.
  9. In other news, I assume BBTS is just not coming through with my Tread. I dare not ask them about it, since they might be looking for any excuse to cancel my pre-order. Maybe I'll console myself by pre-ordering those Moderoid ride armors.
  10. Call me Scrooge, but I don't like it either. It doesn't fit the Mospeada aesthetic. I agree that it looks Gundamy, or even 70's Yamato-like with the Cosmo Zero-esque conical protrusions and wingtip guns. I wanted to call it the Stampede Legioss, but that's a little too kind. I really don't know who the heck this design is for. You'd think they'd want to market these to, oh I dunno, Mospeada fans.
  11. I loved this guy in MK. He stole the show.
  12. I wonder if BBTS will come through...
  13. Hopefully they fixed the mold and there won't be the same giant gap between the chest and back plate in fighter mode. Clipped pic from AnyMoon (don't sue me @jenius) : Also the reissue I had was sorta floppy; hoping for better clicky joints on this one.
  14. For anyone who wants one but hasn't pulled the trigger, the Blacktron Renegade is on sale for half off right now at Target.
