Personally, I love CLAMP. Yes, they do shows about characters that involve emotions. AKA those CLAMP girls do girly stuff. Yep, it's not for everyone. To each his own. Looks like the piloting outfits are also extremely abrupt: NSFW -

1993 vs 1999 TV vs OAV Even though Rayearth had mecha, I would hardly classify Rayearth as a mecha anime. CLAMP just isn't a mecha studio. Not really comparable. But I will be checking out Dangaizer 3, thanks for the reccomendation. I usually don't bother with stuff that sounds like some third sequel to some ancient colorful pre-Gundam samurai-ish mech anime. (Thought it was) -

Make sure to check out the hundreds of demos available on the PSN download store. Quite worth it. And check out "Journey" if you have even a slight love of art and music. Gorgeous game. Personally I avoid "Playstation Plus" service. Yeah you might get a "Free game" every month, but when you stop paying, all those "free games" go away. Now imagine you have the service for a long time, get a bunch of free stuff. You won't want to stop paying, because you will lose that much more.

On Dragons Dogma, did they tone down how much the NPCs audibly yell at you/tell you to move/bug you? Or can you turn off NPC quotes? -

FED EX!!!!!!!!!!!!! *Summons his best Jerry Seinfeld* KRAMER!!!!! So my Mac 30 was to be delivered this Friday morning around 10 am, cool. 11 am comes. I check the tracking, it's been delivered. Wha??? Signed for by "D.Kramer" WhoTF is that? I go to the apartment office, nope, nobody by that name. They don't have it either. Call FedEx twice, no luck, "they will call me back". Wait more. I drive 30 mins to the Fex Ex main office in town, ask them what's up. The driver delivered it to a buisniess, wrong address. The driver is supposed to pick it back up, and deliver it Saturday. Ok, That's decent at least. I get a call later, the driver went back too late, and the buisness that is was delivered to is now closed till MONDAY. Then they will pick it up, then deliver it to me. WTF Fed Ex.

Right. We talked earilier about starting a new thread with game info. This is no longer "New game announced" While sites like GameFaqs and the like will certainly have playthrus and basic translations... We are the ones that care enough to translate STORY, and probably the only ones obcessed enough to do it. Otherwise it probably just won't be done. Also, are there codes for Macross live crossover concert tickets? Supposedly there are 100 tickets to be given away to limited edition buyers. For now, I'm signing off this topic till I get mine, don't wanna spoil the unboxing.

While this is a much loved classic by many, remember that this was shown and funded by the Japanese public broadcasting station. That somewhat precludes it from being badass and controversial. -

You know they gotta be holding back Roy Fokker for DLC. The profit would be huge. Would be a total mess on Paradoxes with Hikaru trying to keep him from dying and then dooming everyone by doing so, but nothing stops DLC profit, not even time paradoxes. ---- They better have VF-25 Armor packs ¬_¬

Had to start watching Orguss again, it's been so so long. Wow. It didn't occur to me how similar it is to the plot of the Macross 30 game. Planet where other worlds connect, with space time disruptions, and basically cannot leave the atmosphere. Mmmmm Mimsy tentacles. -
Does anyone have any suggestions on some general basic reading, guides, or links on how to get started with Bandai 1/72 snap together models? (And how to not jack them up royally) Even little tips would be appriciated. IE: tab cutting the different varieties of plastic, surfacing, minor detailing, decals, preservation, ect?

Down for those expensive 'girls' with large wardrobes as in BJDs? Heh I would like one, but if I buy one, my wife will end up collecting an even more expensive 'boy'. I know! Test: Send two guys to an anime convention. One walks around holding a Queens Blade figure. The other walks around holding a Dollfie BJD. Have them both attempt to talk to girls. Results: Designation of "Creepy" depends on gender of viewer.

Count yourself lucky on that, it saved you money if you converted from USD. They likely just aren't charging till they ship it out the door.

Yep. Big thing to consider when the exchange rate is noticeably high or low when preordering. Delay payment till it is in stock with CC when bad. Pay immediately with PP when good.

Well, I did something unwise. CD Japan charges PayPal immediately when you preorder; but charges credit cards only when the item ships. Yeeeaaah... I shouldn't have used PayPal to preorder when the exchange rate sucked. Now it's back to 1 / 0.01. If I had ordered with a credit card and delayed the $ conversion this would have been much cheaper. Oh well, lesson learned.
