I was going to list the "The Thing" too, but top ten only. I just purchased "The Exorcist III: Legion (for they are many). Not as shocking as the first movie, but better than part 2 with the whole Pazuzu possessing an African boy. What do you guys think of "Legion" with George C. Scott ?

Hmmm..now that we've had our say about the exorcist, let's nominate the top ten horror flicks to buy at Amazon.com. #1 The Exorcist #2 The Evil Dead #3 A B-rated movie made in the 70's. It was about a witch that lived in the woods and killed college students. In the movie, the witch used a swinging tree log as a trap and killed one camper that way. She also had a freaky cabin log with crazy shits in jars. Anybody recall this movie? #4 Salem's Lot #5 The Sheeeening err..Shining (damn Simpsons episode) #6 Phantasm #7 The Omen #8 Jaws #9 The Fog #10 The Reanimator (1984) .....

The Omen was nothing but an Exorcist rip-off. If you watch "The version you've never seen" with the commentary, you'll get a better understanding of the film. I loved how Friedkin explained how he always potrayed Father Karras (Merrin) climbing up stairs as a metaphor for going up to heaven only to have him crash down to hell (lost his faith in God) when he's mother died (guilt) or how mortal people are when an innocent 12 year-old girl can be possessed. There's alot of substance to this movie. I cant' say the same for " The Omen" which had an Armageddon like theme The Exorcist is about regaining your faith and overcoming obstacles. The Omen copied the child, dog, housemaids, politicians, and so on seen on the Exorcist. The Exorcist also had better chilling scenes like the crucifix masterbation and the obscene language "motherfudger" and "lick me". I couldn't sleep after that "Spider" scene. The Devil and the demons were fun to follow in the Exorcist.

Come again? Why did I make a mistake? MP Convoy's the best in TF, just like 1/48 Valks are the best in Macross or Robocrap. I'm glad I bought 2 MPs, and I'm also going to get the rest of the BT's and Taka reissues like Stepper. Maybe I should buy 3 more just to make you even more greener Actually, I think hevangel2 was referring to Greyryder (who decided to buy Zoids instead of MP Prime) and not you. To each his own though. Although I do have two Takara Convoys and love them, I also don't think the truck mode is that great (although the bot mode kicks ass). I'd love to see a Binaltech Convoy/Prime that looks great in truck mode. Melissa I actually suspected that but I just needed to vent. Damn job stress!

I remember spending a whole summer with my Grandma back in 1984, when I came back, my little brother gave away all my toys and comic books. Suprisingly, I wasn't really upset just the fact that my idiot brother never asked for my permission. My dad was pissed though I just picked off where I started and collected more crap with my crappy allowance (thanks dad )

The closest I came to owning a Gakken Alpha and cylone was borrowing my best friend's toys for a couple of days. 99% of my toys back in the mid-80s were TF's, G.I. Joes, Marvel Secret War figures, Orguss bootlegs, and TF bootlegs.
