  1. Finally have a reason to pose these girls.
  2. If they do the full collection in HM-R, then sounds like a good idea to downsize for someone price and space conscious. Although it seems like Bandai will do a lot of interesting stuff, and some unexpected great things already, I just don't see them completing the HM-R for valks as far as Yamato went. If Bandai does, it will be awesome and I'm all in. But on the other hand, if you want a great transforming toy in your hands, there really is no substitute for a V2 Yamarcadia. (Yamato, we still salute you.)
  3. That is interesting. I had not considered that using different size fiber optics gives that kind of rough alien look. Great match for zentraedi.
  4. I love my Zentraedi. This is just a WIP, but planning more panel lights with fiber. Gloss coat awaiting decals and enamel wash. Still trying to decide what color wash to use on green vs gray (suggestions appreciated for assortment MIG Jimenez I have).
  5. I have plenty of messed up models for you to "fix".
  6. A-Mazing. So where do the pilot's legs go?
  7. This VF-0S is a great figure. I would recommend it to anyone on the fence. It reminds me of the old V2 Yamatos, everything is sturdy and locks into place nicely, simple transformation, with paint injected parts to avoid scratches. On the other hand, I have to admit that I'm a bit of a chicken and I avoid all V1's of new transforming toys until they are reviewed. But at least I save myself from a lot of heart ache after a bad purchase. I leave that to professional reviewers.
  8. I didn't think I would be interested in the Orgus Panel, but it was very informative and great for history. I guess we can pretty much consider those old dubs as "fan dubs". As entertainment, Macross II only works subbed for me. Here's my old review. I was harsh on dubs in the old days, and much mellower now.
  9. I hardly know what you're saying, but 10/10 for enthusiasm.
  10. I heard some plastic creaking as I installed the missiles under the wing of the 0S. Now, this is either a good thing or a bad thing: The sound could be coming from the rectangular missile attachment part of the wing, which is actually molded as a separate part to relieve tension. Or its a bad thing, and my wings are about to break like a biscuit.
  11. Wondering if you plan to paint on the graffiti like in the series.
  12. Project update. Okay, moving along in my electric wiring education, I've learned a few more bits and pieces to make this work. First of all, I decided to get a breadboard which makes testing the wiring and electric battery usage a lot easier than what I did in the embedded video above. I think my plan is to have the Leds and motor on one external power source, which is why I need the breadboard to figure out my power requirements. I am also planning a remote control for the LEDs with this cool gadget, however, I really wish I could have a remote control for the DPDT swith for the motor as well, but i have not figured that out yet. Any advice appreciated.

    Hi-Metal R

What are the chances we get M&M as a set? Or not marketable that way?
  14. The pegged stands are sold out on your site. Any eta for new ones? Sorry if this was asked before.
  15. I like the podcast in general. You guys know your stuff. This podcast was one-sided review, however, because you all liked the preview. I think it would be hilarious if your next podcast is only a group of those who hated it.... old-school destroid guys. That would be funny... and probably very quotable. Personally I rather enjoy hearing different opinions, I might see it from the other perspective, and think, "Yeah, they're right, I did not like it, but I see where they are coming from."
  16. Too early to judge. People are freaking out on both sides, for and against. "Its a magical girl show; No, you must be an idiot its not a magical girl show." I think this is going to go on for ever. People need to appreciate opposing opinions without flaming.
  17. Great. So thats 10" and 12" diameter, respectively. And I have to say, wow, that is a great space saver. Yes they are all V2. Thanks.
  18. Hi Yeti, When you get a chance, 3 vf-1's on one stand, and 3 vf-25's on another. Thanks.
  19. You're hired!
  20. Hi Yeti, I have limited space, and I am considering a 3-fighter stand for my VF-1s and VF-25s. Would you know the measurements HxWxL for these configurations posed in fighter mode? Thanks.
  21. Actually there looks like there is a hinge to open for the gunpod.
  22. Okay, now we need MechTech to make the arm retractable down into the Hangar! Dreams...
  23. A ha, you used a dry brush on the edges. Gives a nice metal look. I have been considering whether to try the hairspray and chip method, but it seems so long and tiresome. Thanks, now I know which way to go. Did you use enamel or acrylic aluminum paint after the Future? If you have other destroids done, please share. Would love to see your work.
  24. Brushing up on AKB0048 to prepare myself for this Spring.
