Good point. It does look like a traditional fighter, but the color schemes are hard to describe... Kind of like the 30th anniversary or F-1 colors.

Has anyone seen a VF-31 with Alto/Hikaru color scheme? 12 eps in and I'm still not bonding with Hayate's shade of blue. Guess I'm too old fashioned.

Cool, the 5 V version can run on input of 5-16V. That should make it work with my setup, because I use a variable 12v DC adapter. So I dont have to worry about accidentally burning the 5V Trinket. Correct?

The first Super Parts to my memory came around ep 7, and they had Sound Boosters as well. So I wonder if it will be one package as extra parts, or if they will drag it out.

I recast the second bridge with clear resin to imitate some of the lager 1/500 scale kits. There are actually some big bubbles, but the LED conceals them. I got a better cast on the third attempt. This one's a keeper.

My thoughts exactly. That's not real die-cast. But explain difference between forged and cast. Are they mixing plastic with the "die-cast".

I'll get that book if its nube friendly. Cant make heads or tails of the How To's on their site. I think they expect people have a history with Arduino, et al.

This isn't working for me. The sculpt is too gaudy and the blue is too dark. Let's see if it grows on us.

My first experience with airbrushing. Beautiful tool... if I can get the thing to just spray evenly. My 9 yr old daughter's Beargal. I'm under a lot of pressure here to not screw it up!

I'm looking at the currency rates for us about to bring in the Monster. Looking at the chart, the USD/JPY rate is already back to the July week-pre-Brexit levels of 106 USD/JPY. So that's good, because it fell to 100 USD/JPY the day after the vote. However, what's interesting in that the rate was already trending down below the 120 USD/JPY level from February 2016. Which means our toys were going to be more expensive for the foreseeable regardless of Brexit. There could be two general reasons for the rate coming down back in February before Brexit, 1) currency markets expected Brexit will succeed and bet on it doing so, or 2) "other" economic market reasons caused rate to go down, irrespective of Brexit.
