Don't say it. My poor wallet.
  2. It is at least a unique concept. I want to see it. But: Aoshima + Model kit + Transforming Valk + Armored Figure? This wont end well.
  3. After extreme dremmeling, I got a nice comfortable fit of the Trinket Pro, the servo and all the wires in the rear. I can't keep those thick wires, so I have to decide whether to link them to magnet wire, or if its better to solder magnet wire directly to the Trinket.
  4. Beautiful. Those require two things I don't have: Money and skill.

Who's to say there are not two different armor types: White and Gray...and they used them in different scenes? There is also the issue of color palette in space, versus under blue sky, versus under water (Thinking Blue Noah, Nautilus and Yamato).
  6. I use the Masking Sol. But I find it doesnt stick well enough and flakes off easily.
  7. Check out final sketch above. Still awaiting better amp and speaker.
  8. Success! I was able to work sound, LEDs, and servos into my sketch using the TMRpcm library. I found out Servos don't work with SD cards, so I used detach/attach servos before sound to solve the problem. One of my servos seems to be starting at the wrong point...
  9. I'm an electronics genius. LMAO.
  10. Could you direct me to your smaller servo? And please check my corrections in the question above. Thx.
  11. Also need your help for replacing the transistor in This example with a better amplifier breakout. Will this Class D amp work?. To replace the transistor with the amp, I think I need to connect as follows: A+ to Arduino pin A- to Gnd Vin to 5v Gnd to Gnd Please let me know if you think this will burn anything out before I try.
  12. I'd love to see a photo of the insides. Dont know how you fit all that in there.
  13. No problem. But this is how I measure them with a ruler: 22mm H x 20mm W x 8mm Deep These measurements are without the tabs.
  14. The stated Dimensions are correct. I cannot measure with better accuracy. Dimensions: 19.6 x 8.20 x 19.50mm
  15. Actually i dont know if its digital or analog. I dont even know if itsa continuous type or not. It works with the Uno if you recall my turret servo sweep on the Yamato. The servo specs are here. The Trinket cant run a servo without a potentiometer. I was just testing direct signal as with Uno to see what happens. Maybe I damaged it. When i reconected to Uno, it continued to spin non-stop, but my other servos were fine.
  16. I was using the normal 5v Trinket, not the Pro Trinket. The servo here is also 5v. Smallest I could find. I assume its analog. When I hooked it up to the Trinket on the PWM pin, it started spinning non-stop.
  17. Cool, I just fried my first servo. Connected it to the basic Adafruit Trinket to test if it takes signals. Now it just spins non-stop even when I connect it back to the Uno. Did multiple tests, and no go. Death by Trinket.
  18. How may cm? And can it be hollowed out for wiring?
  19. Can you dremel into the surface after its done, for adding a stand for the valk, or will it crack?
  20. Great work on your new diorama skills. Fantastic. No idea how its done though...

sh9000, we need a green screen background for your great pics!
  22. Show us. At least your pain will provide us some laughs.
  23. This is my wiring plan. For prototyping, I'm using the Arduino. But there will be 10-20 magnet wires coming out the side. To avoid that, I am planing to put an Adafruit Pro-Trinket inside, which is basically a micronized Uno. This will conceal all the wiring, except the USB. I hope the Pro Trinket will fit with all the pins in the engine section, other wise I have to place it below the bridge, which will require cutting the internal support rods. Not sure it will be sea worthy after that. The biggest pain is actually the Micro USB cable. It is very thick, and may be difficult to fit in. Sound components can be added any time later, but will have to remain in the base. Which is why I am avoiding the shield for this.
