Your most recent Macross or toy purchase! General thread.

I purchased, or should I say, tried to purchase a VF-1A TV Max V2 on Ebay. The sellers name is Yankyshoulders. After paying and not getting a tracking number for a couple weeks, I contacted him, and this was the response: "thanks for purchase. The item has been returned to me from custom. it is strange. When i check it, i found that the legs was broken. This is my last item." Although this sounds suspiciously like he was trying to set me up, he did refund me. Can anyone recommend a more reliable option ? -
Mechtech, True, cant do all of it. But I think part of it could be done. If we manually remove those doors, one servo can raise the lift to get the Zero at the level of the launcher. It would be so cool.

Maybe in close range, it could deal with the Monster. It has good maneuverability, lots of scanning radar, and serious firepower with good variety. But sorry, from a distance, the Monster would smack it down. Maybe I'm biased

Thanks. The benefit is you can reprogram as you like without taking the kit apart. There are much cooler effects yet to learn to make the engine rock and roll.

Excellent advice. You will also save yourself a lot of frustration.

I think it could take out any Destroid, except the Monster. (Whats the CIWS from?)

I wonder what's next? Big surprises, I hope.

Mechtech, I'm wondering if you can do this for your 1/350. I'm not kidding.

These Delta SHFiguarts do look very nice. The SHFiguarts shown for Ranka and Sheryl looked clunky to me. I hope they redo the Frontier ones to same quality as the Deltas.

Yeah, that's a Banpresto. Mix and match for my bridge crew. Need a Captain Gloval and two more bridge bunnies!

Brilliant! It needs some fan fiction to go with it.

Some updated programming.

If you've seen his Daedalus, he can do anything apparently.

What's interesting is that these companies solve a problem with locks or wheels or canopies or whatever, and then it seems they forget all about it, and screw it up again

The 31A does look like a logical direct descendant of the 30. The delta wings look like a later development. To me they seem like an after thought. I hope we get a more traditional Yf-39 with better balance, like the 19 and 29.

The VF-1S was terrible. The Frontier valks were solid. But for me, as soon as I get them painted, they no longer transform or fit very well. Need to avoid paint and top-coat touching the joints in any way shape or form. Since I'm not a pro modeler, I assume it is partly my fault. But I have also read from pros that they do not transform much after painting them either, and that they aim at one form to keep the valk in. So for my purposes, a transforming valk is always going to need to be a toy, not a model.

Holy Simoleons! Give a walk through for us non-RC specialists.

Is it mentioned anywhere if Kawamori designed the 31A before the J?
