  1. I do like the camera angle; and the fan fiction to go with it.

Looking forward to playing with mine, although I suck at transforming modern valks. Interesting solution for the groin hinge in the transformation video. I was wondering how they would solve that. Overall, looks sturdy "enough". Definitely not too floppy like some recent ones from other manufacturers.
  5. Nice decks! I look forward to seeing your carrier deck with the UN Spacy banner. The box cover looks like more paper was overlaid. Do they provide that, or you have to craft it?
  6. I will stick with my CMs Legioss. Never done me wrong.

Other than the head what are the differences between the 1A and the 1S? A bit disappointed they are milking the mold this far already instead of more rare figures.
  8. You would need about 30 levitrons to carry that!
  9. I like to do what I call "supersonic baroque," a swirly pattern of embroidery typical of the lush baroque era, superimposed on to slick, geometric shapes. The result is like a tapestry wrapped around a cylindrical or hexagonal or triangular section. It does wonderful things in terms of detail. -Syd Mead
  10. Thats a great collection of Zentraedi. I love that Breetai sculpt...Would love to have one. I also have a clear Zentraedi Soldier from Exo/Plastic Cretins on my to do list.
  11. There must be over 500 fiber lights in there! My little nupetiet has almost 100.
  12. Can we see your boat in scale with more figures on the deck? I cant envision the details at that size. We also want to see it in the water, if you plan to have it out!! Shading is something I am studying, but right now I dont have control of my airbrush yet... trying to balance PSI and thinning level with distance to model... Lots to learn. Right now, I get a lot of splatter and it ruins my model if I try to shade. Awaiting a new Iwata HP to see if that helps me out, as opposed to my entry-level Iwata Neo.
  13. Never realized how small they are, or you have enormous hands!
  14. Definitely. He's the MAN. I got into lighting because of his stuff... And wanting to light the SDF-1 like the Christmas episode.
  15. Dang Mechtech! That's too good. We are not worthy... What's it based on? Nope, in real life its only 10cm tall, so no need to bother. Plus, I don't know how
  16. This is the one I've been waiting for. MT, how do we motorize that Daedalus hinge to open? I want to put together a dream list of lighting, and I need some more ideas: 1- Fiber everywhere (with sequenced lighting and different colors) 2- Lighted bridge and antennas 3- Sequence lighting on runway 4- Chest and Leg thruster lights Any other ideas?
  17. You need to take them off the sprue and sand them down, or those rough sprue edges will ruin all the painting and weathering you are planning to do. Then prime and paint each piece on a stick. To save time, you can do an arm, a leg, etc, at one time if they're the same color.
  18. Thanks Thom! I appreciate it.
  19. And she's up! Kaiyodo Garfish from Nadia.
  20. Thanks! These are 1/15 Kaiyodo resin figures from Japan auctions. Probably cost me USD 10. There are General Products versions as well. My first pure figure, so it was a big challenge.
  21. Got a second wind and finished according to plan. Just needs a satin coat to bring down the gloss.
  22. Some sweet dioramas there. Amazing stuff!

Those arians were great in Macross. But remind me, where they from Ares or ancient Persian?
  24. That's some nice needle work! Google this for a laugh, "Men who knit". My 10-yr old daughter does crochet and knitting. It's a nice hobby.
