Looking forward to it!

Looking good. Yes, it is appropriately cheesy

That's a beautiful build and photography. I wonder how you did the lighting set up.

Wowsers! Very nice work. Both the lit and daylight photos look great. I bet it looks awesome in person.

You did all this in just a few months? That would be about 3 years of work for me. Nice work. There is nothing wrong with your decals. They're perfect. But if you mean you don't want them to look new, you need to add them before the lining and weathering.

Grayson, I was gonna ask why you are 3d printing your own cruiser instead of buying a kit, then I saw that it's 1/350 scale. OMG that will be huge . Can't wait to see the progress.

Oh wow! That is a very slick paint job. And very unique finish on the armor. The texture and color is very interesting.

I'm a big fan of Gibson's hyphenated foreign conglomerates, but I do not recall that story arc .

Does anyone have a 1/72 stage Minmay figure to donate for a good cause? It comes with Bandai's transforming valk. Please PM me.

Thanks NZEOD. I got you covered. Top Gun is locked and loaded just for you. Once I figure out lighting this thing, I plan to reshoot it with Macross and Top Gun versions (once new movie comes out). I also have one more diorama gimmick planned, because I have space at the front wall and a few new tricks to try. ...And I need to weather all the sides.

In my business field they are not cool about these things. I was working on a project once, and the hiring guy asked me, "what's this toys thing we found you are involved with online? Our client needs to know of any of your business activities." I was soooo pissed. Nearly blew my cap off. "It's a hobby [a..hole] nothing to do with my work." Still infuriates me to this day.

Good idea. We can build an RC 1/ 6 scale Macross Cola machine. Who's up for a group build?

What a beauty. Jaw dropping.

Naah man, it looks awesome. That thing NEEDS to be lit.

Derex, looks great. More pictures welcomed. But what is wrong with the engine? I don't see it. Did it not close fully due to your customization? I always have to trim stuff to make my additions fit. That's the fun part for me. I actually don't enjoy modeling, I just enjoy tearing it up!

Finally finished a gimmick I was planning on. This is for the 12-year old boy inside all of us . I almost didn't do this because I ran out of bluetooth controls on my Arduino setup, but I figured that an old-school switch is just as cool! The set-up is a reversing DPDT switch, with two limit switches. The red and blue control lights are also linked to the DPDT diagram. I'm using 2x N20 3v motors, which go in opposite directions to open the hatch. When the doors open, they ht a switch to turn on the cola machine.

This is something I was planning for a long time, but have not been able to get on it for various reasons. Hope you like it!

Ok, doesn't look like a disaster anymore. If it is perfectly smooth now, you can dust on a light layer of the base coat, and then gloss again. You could do the same to the second mirror part, to ensure they are the same tone.
